I wish I may
I wish I might
Hitch aboard a spaceship flight
And launch myself right outta sight

I'd buckle my strap
and sit back firm
Look out the window
See Earth as a blur

The stars become stardust
As I fly through their space
It's me arriving home
knowing my place

My fingers
My heart
My toes and my face
My flaws
and my fears
combust and erase

I peel off my skin
Its heaviness discarded
My spirit spills out
The Cosmos unguarded

I'm finally home
an ethereal garden
Fairies and flowers
Fields and streams
Mountains and Gnomes
It's the place from my dreams

Born of the Cosmos
Divine DNA
I often forget I can fly here
any time
any place.

Flights available each moment
each day
I just have to breathe
look up...

Moon tears
We are all lost stars
Trying to light up the sky
Or maybe
Just our life's
We keep hoping to be a shooting star
But we are just **** burning down

Lay still, and dream awhile, of orchids in moonlight
neath stars on a hill, taste the juice of elderberries,
fermenting as it spills, though not one thought alone
with a boy who knows no limits, and hands as cold
as stones, once tossed across the river with intent of
breaking bones, the dust crushed into powder then
stuffed into his nose, as he hands you all his misery
he claims to hold a rose, but your heart has known
wisdom in spite of growing old, you have learned
to keep soft petals from the cold, while in deep starlit
scenes, you imagine thriving forests alive in shades of
green, but remember long before this, when it had all
just been a dream

It's the feeling you get when your eyes happen to make their way up to the stars and their beauty holds you there for seconds that seem to be hours. It's when you extinguish the fire and watch its soul of smoke rise from the ashes, eerily more captivating than the flames themselves. It's when you feel so much pain you forget to exhale, and the breath you take after it's over feels like your first in years. I don't get to see you too often. But when I do, you are the stars. You are the smoke. You are my breath.

wabi-sabi** (n.) the discovery of beauty in imperfection; the acceptance of the cycle of life and death.

take a look around you,
breathe in the air.
relax and find your inner peace,
feel the wind brush through your hair.

with life comes death and with death comes sadness
but don’t think of the misery and pain.
think of the past and the beauty of life.
let your mind dance about in the rain.

no one is perfect and perfect is a lie,
so accept your flaws and live.
wake up each day with no regrets,
show the world all that you have to give.

find the beauty in the simple things of life
and embrace them with all you’ve got.
never forget that you’re a gorgeous human being
and people do love you a lot.

with life comes death and with death comes sadness
but don’t think of the misery and pain.
think of the past and the beauty of life.
let your mind dance about in the rain.

I climbed a tree today to wish you happy new year
You were nowhere I looked around and you were not here
I hear the sound of old guitars
Remember passings
I think of you. you're not around and I am still here
Why I remember in your bed we had it all dear, all the laughter
I hope the listener can figure out you are not here
And how all the laughter disappeared
'cause you are not here

Sometimes I want to throw myself off taller buildings
I could just let them out
Burst into tears or something
How could I let you out of
what was best for me
Las Vegas nights are brighter
Its night sky now too cloudy
I can not see the shooting stars or hear pal call out "howdy"
Remember 60's acts, the crowd would roar in laughter
How all that laughter disappeared
When you were not here

I spin around, I lose my mind then I fall down
Because my mem'ry is so unkind to me
Keep thinking of you constantly

I know I died when I was three but, that was diff'rent
Before I met you, saw you smile and heard you giggle
I know it's crazy in my mind you're in that blue dress
The one that had that white bow tied
The one that made you gift-wrapped
Now all I do is suffer from gyromancy
I spin around, so dizzy
But, I can't spell anything

And all the people, might be just there laughing at me
But, diddint you hear
That all the laughter disappeared
When you were not here
