Sparkling Dust
I am afraid that before I say this
You are already gone
You are already with her
You are already a stranger

I am afraid that after this confession
You will ignore me
You will leave me out here
You are already a stranger

I am afraid that while I'm speaking right now
You are not listening
You do not care
You are already a stranger

I am afraid, I'm afraid of what we will be
If there is anything that we will be
All the what ifs may come true
I am afraid... I cannot admit my feelings for you
“I think I'll just keep these feelings inside me.”

EDIT: Thank you lovely people, Sparkling Dust is happy that you liked her poem. ♡ -Roj, SD's other half.

Michelle
Did you ever hear the tale of the loneliest cigarette?
Bringing short term pleasure to just one man, while simultaneously burning herself away into oblivion, she is selfless.
He'll soon kick her to the kerb and stamp out her embers which she offered to him because it's what she thought he wanted.
When she is gone, he will take another.
*And she will be useless. Lifeless. Unwanted. Replaceable.

damsel in distress
I can write a book about you
When you don't even know my favorite color, it's blue
The same feeling I get when I am missing you
I don't know why but also when I am *with you
