dancer of the clouds,
ink of dream,
as if the sky, hushed
and utterly forlorn,
turned a pirouette.

The evening sipped
Its golden bright,
as the sun spilled
it's yellow stomach
spoke in streams
of babbled havoc.
Slinging a silvery palm
along the slender hip
of wanton youth in
wishful grip.

O' to be young,
to be young
without the cares
of the infirm full,
of knar's and knot
like the desires of an
old oak tree.

To touch,
the velvet rose light
of the beauty
in her skin,
lovingly caressed
of wistful eye
and
age of bristle.

upon this land I travel along
wondering who it is
that will hear my song--
I have to sing always, you see
because without song
there is no life within me
and when music
surrounds my heart and soul
there is no where that
I am afraid to go.

wish so that someone could be
as in love with song as I
(as I go floating on notes of melodies
while passing by)
and then find that their love for song
brings them to know (and see)
that they are just as in love
with me...

They only fade

Not until the day
