A girl who speaks to
him in the language
of poetry and love.

A boy who speaks to
her in the language of
the angels in the
heavens above* ~

lord have mercy
on my free and easy ways

I'm going to go with the flow
where ever it takes me,
When I find the music inside
I'm gonna dance

lord have mercy
on my free and easy ways

You know my words
they sometimes sting
I never mean to do you any harm
when the music moves me
I'm going to sing

lord have mercy
on my free and easy ways

I know sometimes
I'm gonna get used
I'm going to make you happy
if I can
I get down on my knees
lord have mercy
on my free and easy ways

Sometimes a boy
he's gotta
be free
people are going to be
what they gotta be
I'm a lover
not a fighter

lord have mercy
on my free and easy ways.
Inspired by the band The Head and The Heart, the song: "Down in the Valley"
The line:
"Lord have mercy on my rough and rowdy ways", 2010.

It's the fear of losing you forever what embraces my soul

Introduction
There they stood; keeping silent company.
Yet of His face, wept searing electricity.

To the lovers of life*
Here they stand, keeping silent company.
No utterance dealt; yet clear in both their minds
A single, brilliant truth:

He longs for her with a savage delight.
And it cries from every fibre, exalting!
It is in the bearing of his eye;
Rifling through her tender flesh
In search of what he knows, from voices ages old, is there:
That her heart will beat for no other as it beats for him right now;
That in this moment, their Souls are bared
To each other’s glares- naked, and blemished, and cowering-
Yet his eyes remain fixed and sure:

And for this, she loves him.

For they have seen each other for the First of Times,
Truly! And as with many the Ancient Laws unfurled,
They stand aware, in lack of ever being taught,
Aware with every atom, every straining tendon tight
That their time's so very short.

And so they drink… wordless
To each other, to their youth, and to their bodies
Shining like never before in the noonday air
Garbed in cloth that snaps and furls around their waists.

They imbibe with electric eyes,
Eyes that are new born to this world of light
And come out screaming, living, and sensitive
For lack of ever being touched.
They revel in their new-found joy;
Pouring from Her figure,
Of Her sleek, supple waist and the arch of her back,
Bristling with delight,
Of His strong hands and easy smile,
That spoke of laughter scattered
Across countless campfires of summers past.

Their light does burn intense as any fire,
And when their brimming anticipation
Overspills its crimson chalice
The silence shall SHATTER.
To find peace again in each other's arms.
Fumbling in sweet darkness-

Of heavy lids, of earthy flesh,
With lips embraced...

In ravenous finality.
It's only when
you are in the other room
realize how much you love her.

Stings you the pain
sinks you the gloom
the void seems impassably far.

You wish could walk back to her
cover the space  with a run
look her eyes' dying star
plant there a risen sun.

The other room chills your bone
cripples you with fear
here you are terribly alone
with the hatch shut forever.

Pause before that long distance
where love meets its doom
for hardly is a second chance
once you enter the other room.
oh! and she would curl her hair and wear
red dresses just to excite his heart when they
met in the supermarket
she would call him on a monday when she
felt lonely
oh! so admiring lonely that her lips would cry gasoline
and set the floor on fire
the air would smell of a lost religion and the clouds
oh! the clouds would crack like transparent eggshells
the sun's yolk would crawl inside of her scalp and
every strain of her hair
and she would put on brown mascara and
dial his number with fingers made of apples
oh! one ring, then one again and then the sound of
his voice - just like peaches. like peaches and honey
oh! she stopped loving him so very long ago
but she never stopped thinking about his
face carved in her spine and the way he spoke
was magnetic
almost electric
oh! like peaches, like peaches and honey

There are 10 kinds of people in this world,
and binary accounts for them all.

They're happy and sad.
They're ones and zeros.
Villains and heroes.
Villains, yet not all bad.
Despite everything life decides to hurl;
Despite every brick ball of fear
Through the stained glass windows of their minds,
Through it all, they survive.
They're angry and glad.
They're happy and sad.

And in their duality, they're still smiling there
at your sharp hasty words
at your venomous hurt
that you wish so desperately they, too, shared.
Love thy enemy.

Special thanks to Kelley A Vinal for the binary inspiration. You can read her poetry here: http://hellopoetry.com/kelley-a-vinal/

It's pretty solid.

Edit: Holy Daily, Batman! Wow, I'm so honored. Glad you all like it so much! :D

Hush Love. Hate Love. Love Love.

Love, What's that to me. I say so freely

Above, Beyond, Unfolded.

In Heat. In the Hate. In the Hush of the Moment.

I know not Love.

So pure and forgiving, through the darkness, stand strong.
Unstoppable, never ending, with out condition. Bond.

Love is Simple in a complicated way. I AM

Blows hope. Inspires. Admirers. I STRIVE.

This I feel I know is True. You touched me with Utter Truth.
In the night. In my Mind. Lost in Your Ever Green.
Forever Changed. Let no Shame be Made.
Rise Above, Empowered by the Game.
sings a bird in the open
sings too a caged bird

one to forget the pain
the other to make its freedom heard.
