My heart beats for you.
Stereotypical I know, yet
It's true.

Thousands of relationships have come and gone
Ours will pass too.
But before it does,
It will burn more brightly than
A magnesium ribbon.

I have traced your flared nose
Every day for three years.
Memorized the way your back
Dips down in the lower back.

Your pale pink lips
Have spoken some of my favorite words.
Actually, every word that has passed them
Is my favorite word.

Your black curly hair
Was the first thing I fell in love with.
Then your kind eyes
And how they crinkle almost to the point of closing
When you are happy.

My breath still catches in my throat
When I see you after being separated.
We are one yet two at the same time.

I know you inside and out
Yet every day I learn
Something new.

Thank you for being my true love
No matter what
You are the one.

Without you, I am a speck of dust,
nothing at all.
Havoc reigns in my heart.
With you, I feel like
The ocean that is my heart is calm

My dearest, immortal love
I will love you until my dying breath
And even after.

.
My eyes,
Saw the light in yours
And became
True enlightened.

Fathoms deeper than blindsight

My lips,
Were sunken treasures
You grabbed,
Hoarded from others.

Fathoms deeper than oceans

My flesh,
You sailed uncharted
To bewitching shores,
Only mermaids could dream.

*Fathoms deeper than body

I try to keep myself busy.
Cook new food.
Got a second job.
Make plans with friends.
Spend time with my mom.
Read.
Plan a trip.
Walk.
Talk to that girl.
Laugh with my brother.

I try to keep myself busy.
Only because I don't want to admit
That its over.
I don't want to admit
That it has been over for awhile now
How do you tell someone
It's over
But make them understand
That you still love them
An awful lot

i can't explain you
i can usually make sense
of these feelings i feel
but for some reason
this is failing me

maybe it's always going to be a mystery
how some people can just crawl inside your heart
and make you feel like you're finally home

i hope you know
i've never felt this way
about another soul before

and naturally i should be scared
but this is one of the most peaceful things
i've ever felt.
you you you

i.

her dress laced with
icicles, winter streams,
on her head she
wore a bluebell hat.

her hair wild roses,
her little hands gathered love like
wild roses, until her
cheeks melted like wild
roses, and everything of
her was the rose wild wind and
the silvery song of the moon.

ii.

winter wove it's dull aches,
it's rose powder rains, its
clouds of dream around
her, but she refused to believe
in the scrolled iron gates of winter
where nothing would open into
the garden of her dreams and
she was left a wood sprite,
magical as freezing midnight
cloud-like in her roses and
blanched cheeks, a snow-rose,
deeply beautiful.

iii.

pale as a midnight cloud,
the flowerbeds soft stars
of february, moments of

ice, tears, tears of a doll
in the frost.

iv.

love, surreal and ceramic,
pink blossom kisses on your
cheeks and your cherry-white lips
winter harness of bells and softest
leather.

v.

clouds sing of roses, winter sinks
like a dark rose, magical inks, rose-
girl, roses, dark thorn of black,
muse in the hedgerow, singing
of a long forgotten world. wounded
bird, drawn of paper and the ringing,
ringing air.

Via painter-
I thought no one could set us apart
Fine strokes with the touch of art
You were my canvas and I was the brush
Painted with delicacy without a fuss
When a gentle breeze blew across,
            knocked my board down
broke my heart and broke my soul.
My lovely painting left halfway all alone.
           Colours once vibrant turned to dull and blue;
I promised to never ever love anyone again.
Heartlessly i threw everything u gave
Smearing face with memories we made.  Days passed and months along
Far away from my dear paintings,
My heart longed for what was gone
Learned to calm myself , not to get fragmented;
Wished to go back the days i was
I collected my things and sat to paint
Bend down to pick up my palette,
When
I came across your beautiful face
I picked the canvas and admired the paint
And fell in love with you Again.

Oh, my dear
When I lay on the bed the way I do
I search for you

Your soul seduces me
   your voice, your unwavering stare
Oh, my dear
   how you make me sigh
there's so much on your mind but you say nothing

Just sit there
and I shall dance
for you

A loving relationship
doesn't just happen
It's not like flipping on a lightswitch

Commitment is a process
a wedding ceremony
A promise

Emotions may lead us
Though understanding, sharing our lives
Is hard work & compromise

Communication in dialogue
Is the key
Experiencing true love
Is our own

Love should start romantic
A gust of exitement sweeps us off our feet!
Naturally

The truest test of love
Will come from willingness
To share in the delights of life;
negotiating the bumps in the road

A mutual exchange of ideas,
any relationship
is the needs and experiences
of two people

Face misunderstanding
open and receptive with respect!

Navigate even the most difficult situations.
Take a deep breath, hold them
in a space of love,
Listen fully with all of your heart

A greater level
of personal transformation begins,
Learning powerful lessons
about ourselves.

Once before now
And it was you then too

I want to write a beautiful piece
So sit right here, be my muse
Let me write about your soul,
And its white linens
Let me write about
How it's stained by your
Burgundy heart
How you kiss in tides,
How your eyes shimmer
With the late night stars
I want to keep you forever alive
And it's only best
If you sit upright
Let me portray you with words,
Let me ink these immortal lines
