Dawn
light just seeping
through slatted blinds
robins begin
their morning song
at full-blast volume
I am awake, listening

hoping you made it
through the wilderness
and are sitting on the deck
with your morning coffee
listening to robins too
or loons calling on the lake
watching the sun rise

you said you wanted
to be lying naked
next to the woman
you love
when you're ninety
I hope to be the one
in your arms

perhaps completely deaf
to the robin's cacophony
and a little
worse for wear
but still loving
each other
just the same.

You never could accept me
For the person that I am
For all the bits that make me me
You couldn't give a ****
You tried so hard to change me
Then blamed me when I failed
To meet the expectations
As your wife, that you unveiled
I gave up all my dreams for you
My hopes and sanity
And you just said I wasn't 'here'
You chose to never see
The sacrifices that I made
To be in love with you
I was never good enough
You made sure I always knew
Well I am so much stronger now
I've sorted out my life
My dreams are truly mine again
I am glad
I'm not
your wife!

I wrote you a lullaby, listen,
Go to sleep, my dear,
Tomorrow's another day,
Another fight,
I just want you to sleep well tonight,
I'll softly sing you a song,
I know it won't right any wrong,
Maybe it'll comfort your dreams,
I'll work my hand through your hair,
Fall asleep,
For a few hours, have no care,
Close those eyes now, I'm always near,
And when morning comes,
I'll still be here

It feels great!
we thank each other
for remaining friends
for yet another trying day.
                                     as morning light peeps
                                     through the window
                                     we keep our faith
                                     in each other firm.
when
the evening light
fades on to
long stormy darkness,
                                       each take out
                                       poems written by
                                       the other and reads aloud,
when a poem brakes loose
from it's shackles and touch
somewhere; an unknown
depth, where pearls are found
or a lost treasure is to be retrieved,
                                                        Epiphany strikes,
                                                        we are melded together
                                                        with one vision of beauty
we are sadness
kissed by the lovely
light of hope,at the
right moment that
was about to slip down
from a precipice.
Remains of a day, remains of a life!
There many more gifted Writers then myself here on the earth.
So I know the truth, that  I am a ok writer whom allow Christ.
To write poetry that is Great through me, not entirely me whom writes.
For he wants to use us all through our writing to bless others here.
For he will always add to a offering in his name to bless our gifts.
To reveal himself to everyone else through each of our gifts here.
When we give the gift to him and deciated it to him here as well.
For there are by more ways to give to God then just our money.
For its far better to look beyond our-self to want others healed.

You have the most beautiful smile,
Breathtaking,
Especially that careless one,
When you think no one is watching,
But I've stolen a look,
There's no hunger or poverty in the world, for that moment, I swear
Time stands still,
The curve of your lip, and the glint in your eye,
Set everything in order
And when you smile, the whole world stops and stares for a while. And you're amazing, just the way you are :)

Sunny sunny day.
How beauty can take
your breath away.
People are smiling.
While the warmth
of sunlight is shining.
On faces so delight.
In forest so brightly.
Little ducks are swimming.
in sweet water.
A baby swan is cuddling
her mother.
Colored flowers
and plants that bloom.
The smell of spring perfume.
In the middle of the day , my thoughts of better days.
Yet realizing the truth , days of hardships can be a blessing.
That it is during those hardship days that I cling to you the most.
That during these hardships, is when I see your protection.
So yes it is better at times to have those hardships reveal you.
The Savior, Protector , and God leading me to true Salvation.
For you are my true Source to a Greater Life spent here God.
I am so thankful for you as well, as the people you place in my life.
For you all have Blessed me beyond measure, I am so Blessed.

A leaf clings helplessly as all its

companions grow weary

and weak and let their

holds fail.

This leaf

refuses, despite great

winds and storms of both

rain and snow. It holds on

and I'm reminded every time I walk

on by, that the battle is well worth

the effort.

Hold on,
           lonely leaf.

I was sitting on a wooden chair
Wondering what life could share
Does happiness for real?
If I have no hope and no one could heal.

I am surrounded by thick walls
No one could hear my woeful calls
I am covered by fainted gleam
Which no one could see my enormous pain.

The briny fluid keeps flowing around me
Screaming blatantly; this loneliness kills me!
I’m trapped and no one’s glad to rescue me
Why letting this happen by Thee?

Someone answered abruptly
“You’re not alone and always accompanied by me”
“I never leave even in your darkest day”
“You just have to kneel your feet, close your palm and Pray”
loneliness is just normal for us as a human being. But we must remember that when things goes wrong, Almighty God is always with us.
the heart feels a gypsy
the mind a vagabond
the eyes get misty
by the lilies in the pond

bloom the petals pinkish
smudged with streaks of white
swaying slow by wind's kiss
glory displayed bright

upon the slender neckline
crowns of innocent smiles
fill all dark with sunshine
wipe out weary miles

o traveler feel the invite
merrily pause to respond
be a while in sunlight
among the lilies of the pond

I make no claim
that I have life figured out

I simply live life
trying not to let it
not to let it live me
and take all the bows
while I'm sitting idle

its music a tune
that I did not write
request or handpick
so I count the steps
try to learn the lyrics
and show up in a gown
of pearls and sequins

I dance the dance
although once in a while
our toes will pay dearly
causing distance and pause
but I cannot stop
abandon its side
leaving the dance floor
before the last song
There will always be a better dancer, but we cannot  watch from afar. Sooner or later we all figure it out and learn to dance gracefully in sequins and steel-toes. Let us dance.

The poor children
That's what we were called
Surrounded by drunks and drug addicts
Single mothers and their hordes of children
The future cleaning ladies and harbour workers
We sometimes watched the orphans
Wondering what would become of them

In our own world
We were richest of them all
While the mothers worked
Through sweat, tears and stress
There was always someone
To show a little kindness
"Those kids can come with us, we're neighbours"
This meant pizza for dinner

The summers were for exploring
Golden fields hiding rabbits and phaesants
Truthfully covering a dump yard of course
Trees were naturally for climbing
Move through the forest without touching the ground
A tailbone got injured here and there
No time to see a doctor, it will heal on it's own!
Play hide and seek
Race each other on bikes
I always cheated
Where that stream really lead to, we never found out

But by that very stream we built
From planks and nails
Isolated with candlewax
A little cottage
Every day after school
No one knew where all the nails and candles had gone to
And how the community wood supply seemed to vanish
"Only the good planks" because we had standarts
Who would've noticed the little ones when the grass grew so high
It was our little secret

Naturally the road workers took it down
"Unsafe structure" someone said
A whole summer lay in ruins before us
The toolboxes were quietly returned to their rightful owners
Bored as we were, we gave it another shot
This time supported by a tree
We'd hoist ourselves up with a robe

That was taken down too
We felt sorry for the tree!
But winter's close
That meant snow castles
Never wondering what might happen
If the structure collapsed on us
The tunnels lead to nowhere and everywhere

The mothers were working
Who would stop us
But when our mum was home
All kids were invited for dinner
Us and 12 others
Future cleaning ladies and harbour workers
Blissfully unaware
What lengths the mothers went to, to feed us
I've never been poor in my life.
Some of my old stuff :)
