Try and try to
read between the lines
only to find
emptiness.
In a groggy haze, I awaken from my slumber.

Nothing but silence surrounds me while I wake.

Without much purpose I stand to take a shower.

Once in, I stand with my head pressed against the wall.

Tears rush so fast down my face they feel as though they are one with the water of the shower.

For mere moments the heat and steam from the shower sooths my pain.

But in my mind I remember I can't spend forever in the shower.

Off the shower goes, and on and on so does my emptiness.

I walk to my car, pull out, and drive onward.

The radio is on and yet all I hear is silence, my mind is full of thoughts but yet nothing can fully process.

This world is full of people and yet I have to eyes to gaze into, no skin to smell, to hair to play with, no body to cuddle, no person to love.
You killed her.
You may not realize
what you've done.
You may not've killed
her physically, but emotionally
she's gone.
Life itself is a one sweet lie
When death becomes a bitter truth the moment you die;
The mystery behind the endless masquerade
Unveils with the incision of bodies lined up for a parade;
Of souls waltzing and wailing at the melody of gaea
Bidding goodbyes for a holy departure in a new world euthopia;
A new beginning to write and live a tragedy inked with sins
The world never was a wonderland for the broken, trapped in misery with suffering and pain in every scene

If we were together

If one of us were to die

I would hope it would be you

Because the pain of losing someone

Is greater than

Any death

A constant rumble has found itself trapped in the back of your thoughts.
To you,
This is normal.

They've always been there,
The voices,
But now they're growing louder.
You can hear their words.

They can show you things.
Things no one can see
Things that aren't really there

And you listen

You follow his orders
He's the one in charge, right?

"Take the pills,
Grab the knife,
Bite the gun."

Do not question him.
The others become angry
They tell you what you really are.

"A waste,
A disappointment,
Useless."

And so you listen.
You're lead to the bathroom
Where the screams crack mirrors
And your ears will bleed.

"Taste gunpowder...
You will free them,
They will be happier."

One shot is heard.
Then a laugh.
He has won
Again.

And a new voice is heard in the crowd.
