Blessed I am,
For You have loved me
And I know forever You will.

You have never forsaken me
Despite all the sins I have done
And all the shortcomings I had.

Wherever I go, I feel safe
Coz I know You are my companion
Always there to guide me.

You heed my prayers
Showering blessings upon me
Giving me everything I need
Even though I do not ask
Coz You have already planned a great life for me.
Oh Father Almighty,
With all my heart, I thank Thee!

Today, the words came to me
Wrapped in their exclusive finery
Ready to take me with them
On a tour of the unknown alleys
Of my heart, not visited by me
Each word is a guide, leading me
Towards the core of gratitude
Being an avid traveler
I was yet to take this journey
With childlike glee I read each word
Feelings which lay unexpressed
Were touched by the magic message
Like each new day brings fresh hope
Each word spoke with such grace
The roots of joy are rejuvenated
And springs to blossom eternally
To greet me with varied colors
Of happiness, gratitude and hope
Living each day in wonder
Soft morning light ushers new day
Gratitude in my prayer
Before I start a brand new day

Beaten down,
Bruised and scarred,
Bleeding,
Almost lifeless.
Life is that tough.
It challenges me every time
Making me look weak
Hurting me badly
Giving me unbearable pains.
But I have managed to stand up
And say,
"Enough!
I deserve to be happy too"
I learned how to be strong
Courage is what I found
Fought back
And continuously fighting
Struggling for my life
Surviving not just for myself
But for the ones I love.
I became a fighter,
I become a better me.
I see life in a new perspective
My path lighten up          
Escaped from the darkness.
My smiles are now becoming geniune
Saying goodbye to fake smiles;
My heart is beating lively
Filled with love and hope;
Shedding tears of joy
And no longer crying from pain.
I became a better one
Because I made a choice
To replace negative thoughts
With positive ones,
To end up my misery  
By choosing to be merry,
To stop being melancholic
And become a blithe one,
To throw away the anger and sadness
And start filling myself with love and happiness.

If you are uncomfortable when you look in the mirror,
keep in mind:
We spent thousands of years
trying to convince the earth
she was flat.

We wrote her maps as evidence of the things we saw;
and she believed them.
She cried tsunamis, and had earthquake breakdowns.

Keep in mind: the Sun never gave up hope.
The earth will keep spinning and breathing
the star-dusty space void of encouragement.

Next time you look in the mirror
and second-guess your potential divinity,
remember you will keep shining and living.

Because the Sun is out there
believing in you,
compensating for lack of the human capacity
to treat each other empathically.

You don’t need proof or approval
to be exactly what you are;
Eventually everyone will see
your infinite beauty.
