The earth girls,
Full of light,
Full of brightness,
Shining bright.

The earth girls,
Living life,
Full of compassion,
Opened eyes.

The earth girls,
Influence many alike,
Staged photos,
With many likes.

When I say earth girls, I mean young vegans. Following them on Instagram and Youtube, I could say they glow. I aspire to be like them, happy and positive influences to the people who follow their social media accounts.

Without Opinions

We are told to think,
We are told to act,
We are told to do,
But what if we weren’t told to?

Who are you?

I feel like everything we do in this world is based on other people's opinions. We were raised by our parents who taught us how to live. We were taught by our teachers knowledge that is acceptable based on research, facts, and important people's opinions. Without social media, without the pressure, without people tell us who we are... Who would we be?

Dreams

They’d tell you it would be okay,
Things would flow,
But it feels like the river stopped,
I have nowhere to go.

I keep pushing through,
Boulder by boulder,
The rocks sometimes fall on me,
But I try to always be stronger.

My mind is a mess,
Like the things in my room,
Waiting to get sorted out,
From the sun till the moon.

When I was younger, I had these crazy dreams and I just knew that they would come true. Nowadays, I'm taught to be realistic and being realistic can be painful.
