And when it happens
The weight of the world is a burden for my shoulders
And the train wreck are the thoughts in my mind
And the stress feels like I can't escape
I like to pick up an old guitar
And tune it
Music is a great escape from the world
Quietly the minutes slip away
Dying through the eon of time
Numbered as the stars of heaven
So few will ever be mine

That mask you wear,
I know you wear it.
I've seen you without it,
you look beautiful without it.

So, please, take off the mask,
there is no need for it.
You, just you, is all I need to
love you.

I don't care
If you heard me cuss

Get your own package
At the door

You good for nothing

Laziest person
That ever lived

And a true good for nothing
Sick Of This Place
A cherry tree, heavy with fruit,

Once stood at the bottom of my garden

By the small pond filled with septic water

Disagreeably still. Ignoring it, over time, its

Fruit fell and decayed.

Over time its trunk became overwhelmed

With boles, its branches snapped.

Close by the rich soil

Was suffocated with weeds.

Everyone keeps
Saying "God, God, God:

Again and again

Wait until our entire
Infrastructure has failed

And many people are starving

You'll really be saying it then

America is in trouble
