So contently,
I am empty.
There isn't much left to say.

So quickly,
I grow sickly,
Too ill for work or even play.

Still my mind,
Is in a bind,
No matter how hard,
it is I pray,

Still I'd rather *****.
Than get out of,
my bed today.
I thought the title was punny.

I never knew what poetry was until I met you
-H
It aches not really knowing,
Just to where it is I'm going.
Yet to never have the feeling I am lost.

It's like I'm walking around,
But yet I never get found,
It's only so safe and sound,
Out on the road.
I'll probably work more on this later.

Emotions are like a vast ocean;
there are small, large currents

You're the largest current,
the largest tidal wave i experience,
in the deep depths of my tummy

Your scent, i can smell it
Those waves knock me over,
leaving me gasping for air

Your bright eyes, they're beautiful
The currents pull me from below,
i can't breathe

Walking past you,
you swept me off my feet
I'm now drowning,
in the large endless sea

"Maybe it wasn't meant to be,"
You walked away from me,
it meant truly nothing to you

The waves engulfed me
I'm sinking,
my limp body within your very currents

They said emotions are like a vast ocean,
you were the whole **** sea.

My love in doorway,
A joyous wind wakes my eyes,
Her dress on the floor.

The ink spills dark as lights are flitting on,
the thoughts and dreams and very souls of ours.
Though bright the future, waiting, poised anon,
it notices but flippantly our scars.

A man might make his words into a deed,
might voice his hopes too loudly and be heard,
or else might sleep his days and so accede
the universe refuses to be stirred.

We came onto this planet lame and cold,
with Time already plotting our demise.
But rue the world which fetters us in gold;
We see the black and gaze into its eyes.

The moon sits innocently, just and fair.
The Devil's footsteps kiss the evening air.
Top words from Sara L. Russell (I used the second row of words this time - they seemed more challenging) reconfigured to fit a poem. The English sonnet form was fitting, I felt.

A singularity is therapy
A circulation of serenity
A shared sequence of someone else's integrity

To fully understand an others perspective
A Mind set of silver able and willing to reflect it
Intellectual radar that can always detect it
But you differentiate explaining every sentence

But there's one thing no one could mention
If you don't posses this feeling its beyond recollection
