Passion of 2 Left Feet
Angela Gregorio Sep 2019
A young girl dreamt of being a dancer
She is a wonderer of movement
A soloist of rhythm
A listener of tempo

She gracefully lands her toes
Swirls and twists to show
An expression of owe
For the gift from her soul

But there was a time she landed
A terrible fall she shouted
Her legs were shaking
Her feet was aching

She lost track of time
Every beat was denied
Tears were flowing in her eyes
She felt left, betrayed and lied

But she recalls her first few steps
To why she started to count from
5..6..7.. and 8
To up, down, leap and have faith

She stands up and tries
Wiped her tears and smile
Swings to the music and reach for the aisle
Bows down with shinning light

Applause is all she hears
Congratulatory cheers
She felt loved and peace
Whenever she moves her 2 left feet

Haven't
Angela Gregorio Mar 2019
The sad part is when you're scared to be in love with someone
Even if you haven't been hurt before
Because you know in the end it'll break your heart.

I love how.
Angela Gregorio Sep 2018
I love how I listen to songs and not dedicate it to you

I love how everytime I’m alone im not thinking about you

I love how rain just pour and not thought of you

I love how the same scent of you just passes through

But most especially I love how I’m starting to forget you

Sleep
Angela Gregorio Apr 2018
This time it's not the sadness
that's keeping me awake at night
But it's the responsibility
I have to face in the morning

Track
Angela Gregorio Mar 2018
I was certain I'm on the right track
But there were footsteps that are to visible not to notice
As I continue my way
She was holding my hand
and it felt Warm and I was glad

I. sland
Angela Gregorio Feb 2018
I cried myself to sleep last night
Feeling a little empty inside
All of my tears have dried
For a reason I couldn't deny

What's the reason of my existence ?
Why I am breathing in this instance ?
Where could I find my alliance ?

Or just accept the fact that I'm the island

Paumanhin
Angela Gregorio Nov 2017
Noong araw na umamin ka
Pikit matang sinabing, gusto kita
Meron akong biglang nadama
Dapat nga bang ipakita?

Habang nakikinig sa iyong tinig
May pagaalinlangang nadinig
Tama nga bang making
Sa nilalaman ng aking dibdib?

Binigyang pagkakataon
Sinubok natin ang kahapon
Ngunit bakit ganoon
Di ko na alam ngayon

Takot akong aminin sa sarili
Na baka ako'y nagkamali
Pero mas takot akong aminin
Na baka ako'y nakasakit

Gusto kitang palayain
Dahil di kita kayang yakapin
Bigyang paumanhin
Hindi nais ika'y paasahin

Walls
Angela Gregorio Jun 2017
I tried my best to build my walls so high
People just stared and no one dared to try
Even I was too scared to climb my own
Or maybe to even try at all

Happy pill ?
Angela Gregorio Jun 2017
People have known me as
their happy pill
But it's pretty sad coz I feel emotionally ill
And none of my friends get to notice it
Truth.

Pakiusap
Angela Gregorio May 2017
Wag mo akong kaibiganin baka ika'y mahulog rin
Wag mo kong gustuhin mahirap akong intindihin
Wag mo na akong isama sa iyong mga dalangin
hindi ko rin gustong ako'y pinapanalangin
Wag kang aamin hindi kita kayang tanggapin

At kung maari wag mo akong mahalin
dahil di ko kakayanin.

Will you follow me in my world of doubts
Where I still look back to my unanswered questions
Not getting used to changes that already happened
And still feeling all the pain
