Circle
 Feb 2017 Adelía
Hannah
I sat beside
the waters edge,
and pondered
the life in the riverbeds.
I wondered how
it all began,
the fish,
the tides,
and the small
grains of sand.
It seems to be
a question to me,
just how exactly
it all came to be.
It's complex,
yet simple,
and began
with a ripple,
from the birds,
to the turtles,
to the small
little minnows.
This world is a circle,
a never ending cycle.
What lives always dies,
but secured with a tie,
will return back to live,
only to return back to die.
I wrote this, as I sat by the river, and watched the sunset.

Autumn Rose
The wild roses grew,
all upon the wooden
garden fence, painted white.
Gentle autumn breezes blew
and stirred the
emerald-green leaves.
The melancholy fragrance
was spread in the air,
as I sat and watched
the red petals submit
to the deadly season.
So i sang them a lullaby,
to fall in a summer dream,
And peacefully wilt
with no sorrow,
with no tears...

Autumn Rose
Drown my dreams
in October winds,
Drown my memories
in leaves of fire,
Drown my melodies
in sunset's regret

Keep me from dreaming,
Keep me from remembering,
Keep me from singing

So I too can fall in oblivion with you

Gypsy Spell

If you want
to capture a gypsy,
dance with her
beneath
the crystal moon.
There she cannot hide
behind her tricks and lies,
and if you gaze
lovingly
into her eyes,
and hold her heart
to the moonlit sky,
she will be yours
until the
end of time.

The Willow

Lay beneath the willow
beside the waters edge,
and listen to her secrets
they are spoken in the wind.

Mermaid

If you had
a beautiful girl
lying naked
in your bed,
would you
take advantage
of her innocence?
Or,
would you hold
her heart
in your hands,
and love her
the whole
night
through?

Autumn Rose
Dewdrops on
the meadow
reflect memories
to the roses.
Her sighs painted
the sky of the North
as the church bells
echo in the tall trees*

*,, Oh, Anamaria,
leave your floral meadows.
And watch the reckless
waves trying to escape the sea.
Listen....
They sob for you lover,
his soul lost at sea ,,

Melancholy
 Dec 2016 Adelía
Hannah
It's winter again.
That time of year
when I fall victim
to my hopeless
melancholy.
What eases the pain?
Pouring my soul
onto paper at 3am,
while you softly
sleep next to me,
completely oblivious
to the catastrophe
laying beside you
and of course,
alcohol.

Autumn Rose
Little fireflies
are dancing.
I open my window
To greet the
gentle breeze.
Underneath, roses
are blooming
But empty sighs,
Like leaves,
are falling.
The night begins
to shine,
It's in my hair.
And midnight sends
the early dewdrops
to rest upon my eye lashes,
Like ocean pearls.
Tranquillity is beckoning,
Yet I Wonder why
I still can't find my rest.
Until the sun peeps
through the
transparent curtain
that covers me...

Autumn Rose
Tranquillity
flowed through
the stirred
Briar Roses,
The sweet fragrance
lingers on,
Upon the Silver pond.
Suddently
A white water lily
emerges.
It slowly opens
to show us
the frog as she
plays with her
long pearls above,
With a Red-heart arrow.
Waiting for
little Ivanushka
to retrieve it...
