Autumn Rose
Autumn breezes
on a night of sorrow
carry  my
tears across the
poisonous air.
Waiting for a never,
Hoping for a forever...

I see the skies within your eyes
And oceans in the underneath
Do you ever get the feeling
Like summertime stuck in your teeth?
The stars they shine, like candlelight
Holding vigil through the night
I hear the wind, like whispers fade
A story for another day
Oh,
the cities fall down...With fire
And forgotten enemies, oh
They burnt... with desire
A city built on locks and keys..
A scrap of song I put together..

Autumn Rose
Swimming in
the frozen sky
covered in a
diamond cloak,
And a silver
brooch of
ancient moon
to tell me
the time when
pine trees and
streams enchantingly
sing as they fall
in love with the
pearly glow of midnight

Autumn Rose
Two nightingales
sitting on a
pine tree,
singing together
to the crystal sea.
I wonder how
each nightingale
has a someone
to sing to a
little forest melody.
Oh, how they
sing so soft,
so sweet.
I wonder
if my heart
keeps singing,
will my melody
go to someone
who will sing
back a
love song
to me...

Autumn Rose
I caught a
tear falling
from the
diamond sky.
A forgotten
memory from
the moon
now i do
behold.
Like a
silver ocean
pearl.
Purple eyes
of the universe
laced with
stardust.
Her tears-
they fall
like dried
rose petals
in the late
summer...

Autumn Rose
The night was dark,
faded shadows
of midnight blue.
For the moon
refuses to shine
upon me, where
the willow tree
weeps bitterly.
Can't you see
I'm lonely?
Oh Harvest Moon,
so high above
that broken diamond
necklace.
I wonder why you
keep away, leaving
me so lonely,
On lonely nights
when only the stars
shine brighter.
Oh please,shine on
upon me,
Do not hide,
Oh Harvest Moon...

Autumn Rose
Beneath starry skies
she sleeps, dreaming
of the ocean pearls
so deep.
As silver droplets of
the moon fall in
her golden hair

His eyes burn like fire,
but mine are as cool as ice.

Autumn Rose
In ancient meadows
of green velvet,
the gentle wind
whispers a melody
of lost love...

"On top of Old Pines,
all covered in
moonlit snow,
I lost my true lover,
For i was a bride no more"

-Sweetly singed the
maiden, voice of
nightingale echoes
down where the
blue river swiftly flows

Autumn Rose
(Long, long ago,
when people still
believed in witches...)

-To wander
longingly through
the forest in search
of mystery, but
she herself was
a haunted house.
When night comes,
the whole witch chorus
follows anon.
On brooms of blazing
embers they ride,
Jumping out
of Hell-fire.
The wind is hushed,
The stars grow pale
while the black cat cries
to the moon.
It was All Hallow's Eve,
the ancient ones could tell.
Where ghosts haunt their
graveyard,
Until the morning stars sang
together.

(Here, in the forest,
dark and deep,
I offer you
eternal sleep...)
Happy Halloween!!!
