I'm melting in the summer heat,
as a snowman I thought it was a
good idea but my arms just fell off,
now I look like I have crows feet.

I got an awful itch on my nose,
second that it just floated off down
the street. My eyes I can still see
as I'm shorter by the minute, my
coals gets warm and falls, o look a
new belly button that I can see
the floor, nice puddle wait that's
my belly now a draining down the
street.

I was a snowman that looked for
heat, but know I'm a puddle and
some children just splashed on my
stomach, I think I'm going to be sick.
I was blown away
by her package,
she spoke four languages
with perfect diction,
read nonfiction books
& had a mind like
a nuclear physicist.

Her pretty looks were
just icing on the cake
& I was hoping she'd take
a little look at me,
but she just flew
right on by me,
it blew me away,
I never even got a chance.

Now,
I'm studying fusion,
brushing up on current events
& learning Russian
as a backup plan,
and to alleviate
my confusion.
He was in love in a time I was not,
he fell out slowly;
I fell in. Deeply and tragically.

I cast my eyes towards the sun,
beyond the darkened fence, the fielded midnight thoughts,
watching, through clouded images, knowing eventually
I will witness the birth of a new day

I reach with my smile in a curved line
seeking a destiny still unknown but written
in words of future phrases,
which will come to pass…on multi-colored wings of affection

I send my heart on waves of scented mist,
collected from the corners of my world,
flowing free from silent words and favored gestures
of desire’s endless intentions

I hand my love to nature, freely, willingly…
so that it may be delivered amidst
blooming jasmine and truer promises…to you,
before another dawn’s light finds your beauty and you awake

I cast my eyes towards the sun…yet I seek not its light,
nor its warmth…for all I seek is you
You kind of make my cheekbones hurt
from
all that midnight laughter
and
the little rhapsodic notes escaping
from
my
lips.

Such
a
lovely
hurt
has
never
tiptoed, danced
&
flicked
across
my
chest.
Hello lovely!
How are you doing today?

A lantern can only go so high before it must come down.
A smile can only last so long until it becomes a frown.

Happiness eventually turns to sadness.
But the opposite is true too.

A frown can only last so long till it becomes a smile.
A lantern can be reignited.
and it's only a matter of time until you see that lantern floating high in the sky.
