In our minds we are not contained

We need our hearts just the same

For a heart without mind is pure strength and passion

But mind without heart is just hate and aggression

Seema
That was then
This is now
He was "Ben"
You are "Chow"
He came first
You came last
He passed the test
You dragged in the past
He left long
You took me wrong
Now he's back
Every second you call to check
You doubt me
He wants me
You threaten me
He protects me
I'm confused
And feel used
Neither of you give up
I am so fed up
My life and love is not a bet
So both of you can just forget!!!

You start with Coke
Regular
A glass bottle
Is preferred
If you're reaching for Pepsi
Get a clue
That sweet drink
Just won't do
A bag of peanuts
The salted kind
Which ever brand
Suits you fine
Grab your Coke
Pop the lid
Take a good
Long sip from it
Pour the peanuts
From the bag
Into the Coke
Till there's none left
Tilt it back
Drink and chew
Cause that's just what
You're supposed to do
If you're wondering what
This delicacy is called
It's Coke & Peanuts
That's Southern ya'll
Shadows are taller
run-ups are smaller
throws don't go any far

morale is lower
bat moves slower
no more can hit a sixer.

Muscles aren't sturdy
movement is tardy
lethargic feet hardly run

only lean patches
missed easy catches
nobody says well done.

Can't see it clear
from daze of fear
fumbles my unsteady bat

the opponents dance
they don't miss a chance
the field shouts how's that!

I have a feeling
this body ain't willing
to run on the green anymore

yet the ****** mind
still hopes to find
one last three figure score.
acting all surprised
like harvey weinstein opened eyes
hyper critical belies
this most hypocritical of people and places
casting couch denials
humblebragged ****** defilement
worked the feminista angle
best audition of the day
two thumbs up

How many hollywood men are sat at home knowing they can never talk about it?
we dont look like them
we dont act like them
we dont dress like them
we dont think like them
we dont think we want to be like them
but we are all us now
people worry too much about outside ideas coming in
its the inside ideas coming out they should fear
in the interval
when the ice cream lady
came
we bought
Kia Ora
and a box
of Poppets

I put my arm around her shoulders
she said,
it's not that cold,
I was hot
chewing poppets
and when the movie started
I tried to kiss her
but
only once,
she told me
that she'd tell and
I would go to hell for it.

Her name was Jacinta and
we were at the Odeon
the Odeon's gone now
and
Jacinta married
Bob Shriver who
drove for Amoco

I remember her though
very well.
