Has no story to sell

Aesthetically designed

Will please the reader
And enlighten their minds

A poem that rhymes!

Skeletor,
I'm taking
To our kind!

Forgotten now
She's no longer young
I can taste
Her name on
The tip of my tongue
I see her face
So elegant yet tired
We once shared
Her deepest
Darkest desires
Oh how I miss
That kind of fire

Dust settles in empty spaces
Caterpillars morph while lost in stasis
Stuffy moths need butterfly ***
To spread their wings
To retrieve their hum
Oh what have I become
With my indignatious sum

Try and wrap
Your mind around
A paradox
Quite grotesque
Existing within
A parallel
While bypassing
Togetherness

An ideology
Of choseness
To survive
The end of days
Will hold us
In its clutches
And suspend us
In its maze
...

Obscure eyes of
Shameless sin

Subconscious
Evolution
Stalls again

Conjured myths
Bringing
Hopeless fears

Superstition
Fallen upon
Mindless ears

Love in a name
War in the same

Shamelessness
Cannot be
Contained

Next generation
looking for peace
Teach them well
Or feed the beast

Swirling winds of endless time
Slowly erode the weary mind
A mind programmed to forget
When a hundred harvest moons have set
When barn and wagon have termites eaten
Beyond repair to bear repeating
The sun shall turn, the earth shall set
When shadows of doubt become regret


Out here beyond few seasons
I bear the stains of logical reason
With eyes full of brilliant light
So as the devil out of mind and sight
Entities unseen, invisible beings
And the non-existing
Surely share a similar theme

Unburden my heart
With soft words or hard
Unseen unformed words
Like clay in a jar

What can my soul spring
But fountains of dreams
From the depth of divine
What will my muse bring

Of the hell I have seen...

I do this for fun
Nothing more
A need, an outlet
A friend, maybe four
We all have our places
In the Kingdom of Lords
Come fill my Temple
With silver and mirth

Roaming the Earth

Dear Traveler
I am deprived of all those memories
and those enchanting sceneries
That you seem to carry
I was born in this birth
With a clean slate

Are you human
In our eyes
What part of you
Refuse to die

Unquestioned morals
Of those who came before
Do you believe in invisible things
Do you believe in war

Are you worthy
In our heart of hearts
To speak of right
And wrong as an art

Is there room
For us to grow
Is there acceptance
In your role

Are you hungry
In the nights
Are we human
In your sight

The gift of logic
Shall dictate
The mighty
Shall see
The wise
Shall rise
All in the name
Of reason
And humanistic pride

When my rage finally settles
I go searching for somewhere quiet
To calm the madness of my chaotic world
Delusion is such a well-balanced diet

When I dream I dream in color
Dark rainbows fill my velvet sky
When I laugh my tears are crimson
Touched by pain I hold inside

My pagan heart shields deception
From a judgmental godly mind
The craft spins upon the alter
Blessed like water turned to wine

No false hope to claim the throne
In a world that I must own
Just a magic spell to soothe my hell
Oh, how long must I stay ******?

Temporarily permanent
This limited eternity
One way or another
We surely won
Some lottery
A chance
To live
To love
To be
Only death
Can set souls free
Free from the spell
Of this existential dream

Are you awake
Enough to be
An overseer
Of liberty

Do you see
Both far and wide
Out beyond
Some foolish pride

To tolerate
To liberate
To inspire
Another
Human's fate

And if so
And I know if you really know
You have been here before
In this humanistic role
Don't stop believing
You're nearing your goal

The climbing mind
Far past the cliffs
Of "by design"
Above the caves
Of spiritual slaves
With nothing left
To give away

I have scaled
The suffering soul
With broken spirit

How high the summit
As we grow old...

Mostly though
I'm so glad I had
A chance to meet you
Upon this road

Worth
How aimlessly
We're measured
Wealth over health
Charity over compassion
Beauty over kindness

True teary-eyed empathy
Means little
A simple distortion
A white noise
In the background
Of difficult solutions
Not yet found

I'm sorry
No one can
Save you from
Yourself
So find your
Worth
And measure
It well...

Who shall own the words
Printed on the page
Did you form a new vocabulary
That only your words say

Were you there went utterance
Turn to song and dance
Who are you to be cashing in
On Elementary English Class

Her and I never met

I mean no drama
In my busy backbone stance

They cost us nothing
We give them away
When we say something

So here are some words
That describe being friends
Put them in your pocket
And hold them within...

I hold no grudge
No resentment lingers
No vengeance is mine
No pointing of fingers

Bygones be bygones
Let us be one
Voice of reason
All said and done...

Who can be classified as a Troll
Is there a criteria that lets us know
If we were a Troll ourselves
Would that affect our mental health

Under the bridge of a poetic mind
Surely the Troll will strike in due time

To show us our ways
Have somehow gone south
Straight out of lines
They'll run their big mouths

And so here I'll simply define
A Troll is a person who crosses the line
A questionable comment without a like
Are you trying to be irritably polite

Forces of nature
Connect you to I
I am the shadow
You dare to define

I am the magic
You felt in your youth

Took the serpent for another ride
Is it brave to want to die?

For those of you who follow maps
The serpent symbolizes my relapse

His day of judgment he demands
That's if his rider still can stand

His poison venom haunts my dreams
Like the pain of losing a lover brings

Fables of love and fear are sown

Slain in the spirit
Such a burden of proof
Neurotransmitters
Inexperienced youth

Conclusions are formed  
As the intellect yawns
Yet to free your mind
You got to move on...

We're Trapped
In this physical
Realm of existence
That's logically perceived

No cognitive conclusion
Nor magical delusion
Could ever break us free

So relax
Chances are
We're  just drifting
In eternal universes
On an endless sea

It hits me mostly
When I'm alone
The voice of soul
The creative flow
Whatever it is
I don't have a clue
Words that come
From nowhere
Words I never use
Perhaps
I'm a bit crazy

But it is the gift
That you and I share
And I hope

In love again
                       Embrace the tears

The empty life
That longs to live
The heart of gold

In coffin madness
Buried alive

And don't ask why

In the moment
I embrace reality
The realization of breath
In harmony with

Deity attributions
Are far from my mirror
She touches my heart
Whenever she near
Take her down deep
And hold her inside
I fall to my knees
Tears fill my eyes

The secrets beyond
To bathe in her light
Before I move on
And travel to worlds
That exist in my soul
Engulfed in her love
And never let go...

When your demon
Tried to shout

Human doubt
Depletes the soul
Off into the ether
Our essence flow

Are invisible

Than these pangs
Of life...

Doubt moves us on
While faith holds tight

In worlds anew
Where creature create
Doubt is actually
An open gate

One of the greatest gift
Bestowed upon us
Is emotional pain
To embrace it
Is to finally live again

She introduced me
To my first heartache
It felt as if I would die
To numb the pain
Was my first mistake

One cold day
I embraced the pain within
Only then did the pain dull
Enough to move on
To live, love
And even lose again

Life can be a painful experience
There's no avoiding it
There's no other road to take
Only cliffs

Surely words can't lift
Your heart every time
But when you pen
Your heart beats mine

The desperate me
And feel the pain
Flow as I bleed
Knowing the longing
Has yet to break free
What will become
If I can't get no relief

The day over
Never stay clean
Never stay sober

This is the death
Of all those cares
Subconsciously
Remain unaware

The bottle has been
An old best friend
A handful of pills
And numbness sets in

Just like no love
Just like no friends
And so starts
The day
Over again
...

Evidently I do
A Leprechaun Dance
It's actually more
Of a happy prance

I skip on one foot
And into the air I kick
Arms raised in a spiral
As I do a head over flip
Out of a tree
Off of a cliff
I tend to awaken
   Mighty stiff...

I go with the flow
Most every time

But I don't understand
How you remain unchanged
Never able to escape
The addiction stage

Hell, we were junkies
In our prime
How many times
Did I lose my mind

Before I decided
To get it right
How can you still
Be living that life?

What the hell went wrong
With my ex-wife?

Ethereal waves
These strings they bind

Beyond the conscious states

Countless questions
Reasoning why
Staggeringly suspect
Those subtle lies

It seems quite complicated
Yet it's as simplistic as can be

To form a confession
While lacking
Poetic expression
I put a tongue lashing
On my muse
Using words seldom abused
This and thats
With words that snap back
Now I'm really trapped
Not to mention confused
In this bottomless pit
Forcing words  
Without a muse
...

There remains more
Than simply two sides
I'm neither
A hater or unwise
And just like you
I have my pride
I refuse to be fooled
By any Republican
Or Democratic jive
But that doesn't mean
We're not in for a hell of a ride
...

Words carefully gathered
And placed upon lines
Creative fitful thoughts
Tighter than rhymes
Emotional words
Rerouted, relived
More than just feelings
These Poetical Gift

Fill it full
My cup of muse
My body grows tired
My heart confused

I'll raise a glass
To world peace
A couple more
For France And Greece

For Human rights

I'll be ready to fight

And now I'll write
From a brand new view
As I raise this glass
Of fermented muse...

This is my strength
It don't belong to anyone else
No one carried me through Hell
They simply placed me on a shelve

These are my veins
Sending life force to my fist
Those are my claw marks
Ripped from Heaven's List

This is my heart
My love weighs a ton
And it's stronger on it's own
When it's all said and done

Across the divides
Her single arrives
A cast of eyes receive

Off to the race
Her words of good taste
Such good lovin'
When she bleeds

A trend every time
She posts on line
Tragically a mess

But it's her that I need
To set my soul free
So go ahead my love
   And confess...

The dying children suffering
And all the war torn souls

On broken stones of law
