I hurt myself
once again
I brought the blade across
my skin
I never wanted anything from you
you'd paint me purple, I'd paint you blue
I wanted your heart
you wanted mine too
but you shattered me, and all that was left
were the broken pieces, one big mess
you destroyed me, I destroyed you
everything we had, a candle
that has long been blown
everything we had
no longer ours to own
what I did to you
what you did to me
I scream at night
because of what we could never be

You painted
a sunset in the back of my
throat, so that every time
we kissed, you could taste
something beautiful that
wasn't me.

you, whose Candle flickers in the Night,
whose warm Flame fights against the Cold
you, whose Candle shines in the Night
a tiny flame in the Darkness

do not so quickly judge;
do not be so angry;
do not despair;

to Us who extinguish our Flames
by our own breath,
the night became too cold
the darkness too thick

to those of Us
who extinguish our own Flame
the Way forward
does not exist!

don’t deny us the rest we sought
or the relief we desired
we did not seek to hurt you
but our burden was too great

as I join my brothers
and sisters who went before me;
hold dear our memories
and celebrate our Freedom

Nature is an orchestra
For everyone to enjoy
The leaves falling in time,
conducting the whistle
of the wind. Branches
groan a deep bass,
Birds peep high melodies
And the water twinkles till the end
Nature is a orchestra
For everyone to enjoy

The trees begin to remind me of the skeletons in my closet

The sky seems to reflect the melancholia in my mind

The wind feels as comforting as an ice bath in February

The ground is as hard as the ice around my heart

The snowflakes are as fragile as my voice when I talk about it...

The icicles imitate my tears as they fall and freeze simultaneously

The moon becomes the only source of light that I can stand

And
This glove takes the place of your warm, soft hand
Is anyone willing to listen?
Im stuck in the dark and cant find an exit.
The storms in my head are pounding. Lighting strikes again.
The voices won't leave in peace.
Why i ask?
Why am i stuck in my own insanity with no way out.
Why am facing it alone.

Rain

How beautiful art thou; rain.
Pittering and pattering, into nothingness.
Dripping and dropping in a steady beat.
Splitting and Splattering but soothing.
What a feat.

How beautiful art thou; rain.
Small and light, crystal and clear.
Sent from the heavens above.
The gentle weeping and tear.
What a sight.

How beautiful art thou; rain.
With soft drops to the loudest of splashes.
Big but small, quiet but not so.
Call upon the lightening, your company.
What a sound.

How beautiful art thou; rain.
Washing away sadness and bring new life.
Day or night, you see through everything.
Morning or evening, your steadiness fails to change.
What a night.
Technology, Technology
It runs our lives
From the alarm to the evening TV
Just count your sheep
in the hopes of a six hour sleep
Dragging, pushing, poking and grinding
All for what? A day where we swing away?
Reminise and rewind our lives gone astray
All our friends are easily connected
So why do we feel so alone
Looking for love on a computer screen
We’re all ******* with the naturalist gene
Nature’s monitored via tv screens
With copious numbers of LCD’s, CD’s, Mp3’s to sail the seas
Heaven forbid the ******* sneeze
That’s technology you can’t see.
