Exceedingly underwhelmed,
I found myself in awe
of my own vacant stupidity.
Oh, how we often
fail to grow wiser,
and instead lose
our clear vision
with time,
the way the rain blurs
the window
yet cleans the air.
The Sun a golden yellow
in a sky of cobalt blue,
blooming emerald leaves
under flowers of purple hue.

Dazzling bright colors
beautiful feathers of white,
soaring through the sky,
mystical doves in flight.

Flowers fresh and sweet
strawberries drizzled in cream,
beautiful visions of love
kissing every single dream.*

the trees
the trees
what ever happened
to the trees
once our scenery
had acres and acres
of trees
but over the years
we've purged
far too many trees

yet the trees are so vital
in the natural world's ecology
for their leaves perspiring assists
the rain cycle's hydrology

we've not replaced
the trees we've taken down
hence why we've now few of them
in our environment's crown

and our countryside
suffers prolonged dry spells
the trees were such
precious fillers of rives and wells

the trees
the trees
what ever happened
to the trees
once our scenery
had acres and acres
of trees
but over the years
we've purged
far too many trees

What he didn’t say
with voice,
he spoke clearly
with tears
that never left

his eyes.

She
refuses
To reside
Inside
anyone’s
Solace
Especially
her own
She’s a
rare rose
With
the thorns
Still attached
She walks
a fine line
Somewhere
Along the line
Between pain
And fine wine
She always
found the time
And
Courage
To shine
You, yes You.... you have the strength of ten men , although not always easy ..... You keep standing for the win... You’re indeed a rare rose,  at times..... unaware!
