 Apr 2022 Ave Maria
Dhimss
You're the past I craved for.
The present I adore.
The future I want.
I love you.
It s better than anything I ve written so... Here goes.
 Apr 2022 Ave Maria

The poet lives two lives.
One on the outside,
And one in their mind.

When you look in their eyes
You could see an abyss.

If you looked long enough
You could sink into it.

But most people don’t see it.

Take the time to read the words, though,
And you would know for sure.

The poet lives in two different worlds.
A little escape from the madness.
Or maybe, into.

Ashes to ashes
Dust to dust
Everyday a soul is lost

Souls of love
Souls of lust
Souls on endearment
Souls of trust

Souls full of knowledge
Leave people like us
With questions unanswered
And feelings unmastered

The void of their absence
Still lingers with longing
Tear drops of silence
will forever keep falling.
Once was the memory as fresh as frozen dew

I stepped back and then over
the rotten log of truth

Now the days are slated
in the absence of the years

Leave me debating on the worthy of shedding salty tears

The oaken deck and floorboards
of my weathered ship

From the sun and salt
have turned to white at the ending of my trip

I left one foot ashore and the other out at sea

Have thus been devided serving two masters knowing that it can never be

I scowled at by the landward winds

Then turned and prayed to us at sea they'd send

So the back and forth of my life
I sadly never let it end

Now the mast has broken
the repairs will never last

Thus I come limping into port
dropping anchor , and  holding fast

The dingy is the last ride
on the oars that water drips

I'll not be putting out to sea
It's now the time that R.I.P. s

But be not sad the greatest voyage remains

One a joy to make
that eliminates
the pain

Should the sun ever express
How it feels to give its light to every being
How it loves to see, the children in parks
With sparkling eyes
The river and the sea, with a golden sheen
The motes that freely float in every beam
Does the sun beams a knowing smile and feels alive
When it sees and feels the new leaves
Gaining strength and growing big
Under its warmth and care
Should it ever say and quietly express
How happy it feels every day
To rise and be awake
And give hope to every being
And the tiny leaves
Gaining strength, growing tall
The trees softly speak
As the lush leaves shimmer and shine
Giving shelter and home to the birds and the bees
The sun knows its worth
And knows what it is to rise and shine
And give hope to every being

A lone neon lamp

Lights up the deserted street

The dark night retreats
Love; an emotion from Adam's provenance,
settled in hearts for eternal governance!

Love; a subject of choice, exist's in genuine lives.

Love; picks the lucky few,
rules hearts from yearning nights to morning dew!

Love; a composition of the heart,
knowing the notes is an unparalleled art.

Love; is a mixed feelings matter,
only time makes it better!

Love; seeks no validation, knows no bounds,
needs no information.

Love; fills every single void,
making each moment a memory to be enjoyed!

Love; happens when least expected,
lives in the minds and captures the heart when eyes are met.

Love; follows no rules,
least that can be studied with any tools!

Love; shows patience, yet cannot be fooled.

Love; fuels the body and true love fuels the soul,
Consumed within as a whole!

Love; is lost to love alone,
only to rise as a phoenix to reach another milestone.

Love; is poor and it is rich,
the only constant to enrich!

Love; journeys through life into infinity,
to be blessed by the Holy Trinity.

These are my fourteen (14) paragraphed verses to tribute the love month and the valentine's day ( 14 th February) while we journey on to the valentine's day !
May we all be blessed abundantly with love and happiness in our lives.
HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY/ MONTH

Silent whispers
Purple spoke to pink
Lavender winked
Somewhat convinced
Sugar red hibiscus
From his bed of green
Sprung into the conversation
With purple and pink
Yellow blush
Nine o clocks
Had to attend the briefing
By the sun
In his next meeting
The flowers seemed not to be in a rush
All, recently bloomed
They had moments enough
To live
They tried to make the most of it
Under the rays of the sun

 Apr 2022 Ave Maria
Nishu Mathur
Some days are good
Or I think they really are
I soak up the sun
And reach for the stars
Some days are bad
I suppose they really are
The sun seems too hot
And the stars — too far.
