Poetry is
The dance that words make
Without the need
For music.

When my heart aches and feels squeezed,
Choked up and finding it so difficult to breathe.

Causing my eyes to overflow with tear drops,
Do all I can, but the ungratefulness never stops.

I want so much to live a life of a virtuous woman,
It’s a daily struggle, forgive me Lord for I am human.

I beg You to reach out and take me by my hand,
Precious Lord take me to that glorious promised land,

I want to go home to no more sadness or grief,
Seeing those that have gone before will be such relief.

Not mine will be done here in this unforsaken place,
But, Your will that be done no matter the trials I face.

My plea is for those who use, abuse, and are so unkind,
You place a burden on their hearts to others not be blind.

I lack sympathy for those who choose not to live for you,
Forgive me Lord, help me to lead them for you to rescue.

Only in You will they be forgiven and find saving grace,
That is my precious hope before I depart from this place.

Give us all the love of our Father with eyes of a child,
So that unto others our temper and anger becomes mild.

You have to plan before you do it.
Believe everything question nothing.
Wear all the right cloths.

Look perfect and be perfect everyday.
Wearing a mask to hide the real you.
Never caring about who your hurting.

They always tell me i am not enough.
The difference is i am happy as i am.
I love the skin i am in.

I am real not fake.
I wear no mask.
I have nothing to hide.
I wrote this because society is putting us all under so much pressure to be something we are not, act a certain way plus I was feeling angry at the time.

A morning.

Mornings
Are like sitting in
A dew-dropped sunrise.
Everything is fresh,
And new,
And glowing.

I love
To just sit
And exist in the morning sunrise.
I love to feel it’s warm
And loving embrace
Surround my lifeless body.

The beautiful melodies
Of the sweetly singing sparrows,
The elegant beauty of the summer hue
And the bustle of the breeze
Remind me of a place I once called home.

As I sit in the dewy morn,
I remember what was once home,
Where my cold and empty bones once laid to rest.
A place filled with comfort and hope
Long since drowned in tears and fear.

I love to watch the sun rise.
It reminds my silent heart of what once was.
But, I know that come sunset
My soul will once more return to its darkness.

Science is son of poetry
Psychology, daughter of sea
Wind is father of religion
Earth's mother, the fire engine.
Through the self-centered rhythm
Light and twilight saddle me
In the ring of solarium
Temper of seasons suckle me.
Tomorrows and yesterdays are
Torches and candles of the Time
House of here and heavens of far
But cradles in Space paradigm.

Happy Retirement, Bill
The countdown now is done
After 35 years working for Milner
Your new life has begun...

That’s cause for celebration
Despite what you have said
We’ll sing “He’s a jolly good fellow!”
Raise a glass-break some bread!

I know how hard you’ve worked while
Those copy machines kept breaking
Those customers kept on *******’
Despite the best effort you’re making

So punctual!  Dependable!
So clever at fixing things, too
You’ve worked hard all your adult life
“Hardly working” is new for you

Thousands of machines you fixed
Often while crawling on the floor
Looking for that wayward *****
On your 6th call-and then 2 more!

Now’s your time to put those feet up
With our cat upon your lap
Dreaming of surfing and traveling…
You’ll have time to take a nap

Instead you took your surf board down
Since you’re feeling quite inspired
To be a dedicated beach ***
Surfing ev’ry day you’re retired
Bill had quite a send-off at the Grand Bohemian Hotel in Asheville, NC last week, and is now taking a nap, dreaming of those waves to ride...

I wish my life would be crazy!
Don't wanna spend
Another day being lazy.
Similar routine of daily life,
Never let my craziness thrive.
Sometimes it feels so boring.
Don't wanna spend
Another night snoring.
But what would the excitement be?
What's the new thing, i wanna see?
Wish I could get lost somewhere.
In a jungle or an island,
Yes i could dare.
Could climb on a mountain
Or go under water,
could be a horse rider or a hunter.
I would push the boundaries
To the furthest corner.
and go anywhere without a warner.
I'd love to lose my way
In the Grand Canyon.
Alone there. away from a billion.
I'd love to get thirsty in the Sahara
Or in 'Thar', be a 'banjara'.
would love to pass through
The scary Amazon,
where i'd see neither sunshine
Nor the horizon.
Or
Could go inside the cursed Pyramids,
& explore all of Cleopatra's jewelries.
Wanna jump from a flying chopper,
Or feel hot by some volcano vapour.
Get in a rocket and go to the Moon,
Or go up high in a hot air balloon.
All out of my reach.
Even a far away sea beach.
My desires all set to go down.
All I can do is, have a bike ride,
on the roads of my lovely small town.
