Infinite moments up until now,
Infinite moments ahead,
But right now in this moment, time is frozen.
Your kisses make me dizzy in the head.

I don’t know what I did to deserve you,
Or what you’ve done to deserve me,
But together we are two parts that make up a whole,
Together we are free.

The universe connects us to each person in each moment,
For reasons we will never understand.
So on the night of June 7th, when I connected with you,
It was not something for which I had planned.

You’ve turned my entire world upside down,
Your words spin me round.
Your love takes me places so high,
I am afraid my feet will never touch the ground.

Once in a lifetime you find your person,
So when you do hold on so tight.
It’s like no matter what you do or where you go,
Every moment feels so right.

For there are infinite moments up until now,
And infinite moments ahead,
Each infinite moment I promise to love you,
Each moment until I am dead.
For my Jacob. Thank you for helping me rediscover my love for writing.

Some days

I

Feel

Like

Falling

But

The

Feels

Like
It
Is

Falling

Through

Me

Sounds
Colors
Sirens

Am
I
The

That

There is no truth
Only perception

We live in a world full of it
What we deem to be a truth
Is merely the majority of the perceived

Couldn't one say though that there is only truth?

Isn't every input my senses relay to me as real to me as anything can be?

The paradox is that there is no truth and only truth

How can there be truth when
the world only exists through the perception of one's senses?

And how can there be nothing but truth when my senses exist to receive the world as it is?

A Rose

Cné
Who would think a rose so sweet
Would dry and crumble at the feet
And blooms that scent the night and day
Would steal a heart, then fade away

With petals soft and fondly red
Sweet essence fills an addled head
Then turns to dust before the eyes
Leaving naught, but sad surprise

Who would think such thorny vine
Could lift a blossom as divine
And by the stem on which it stands
Could so wrong an offered hand

Such strength and beauty is rarely true
A blessing owned by very few
As 'neath the soil, in winters keep
There sleeps a rose to tear a cheek

Who would think that perfect bloom
Could be a bane, a curse of doom
So fine a sight, yet in disguise
A rose to ***** and blind the eyes

The curve of your smile
The curve of our land
The fruit on the trees

The bull frog sounds
The crickets too
The heat of the sun
The heat of you
Lovers in love with
Nothing else to do
But be in the moment
This moment of me and you.
The chains have now been broken
From this place of no return
Your voice still echoes to this day
In the corridoors of our minds ,
Destiny now stands in wait
You took away our joy
But now the tide has turned
from your cold world now outside.
Your words they have faded
Along with your demands
Now you have gone the pain will heal ,
Those grusome cells they  are open
We will leave those days behind
You have no hold of  the fears
You created deep inside ,
Your doors have closed for the last time
Freedom is there and we move on
Far away from your prison bars.
That feeling of being set free from oppression
In its many forms .
