She is not the reflection they painted,
nor the role they assigned.
She is the breath of the earth,
the roots and the bloom,
both soft and unyielding.
She carries worlds within her—
and owes nothing to anyone.
This poem celebrates the untamed power and essence of womanhood. It defies external labels and expectations, embracing the strength in softness and the quiet force of being. It is a reminder that a woman is whole in herself, carrying limitless potential without needing approval or validation from others.
They creek
They have for years
The rust has had its way
The play has increased
Not too much dismay
The sound apparent
The grind that gathers now
Soon the gate will not latch
Enjoy it
It's your last chance
Anyhow.
Unfinished poems
Wandering bits in my mind
Waiting to be
Are you waiting to be?
i saw a little robin sitting in the snow
showing of red breast that almost seem to glow
then he began to sing in the snow so white
a lovely a melody happy and so bright

he sat there a while i listened to him sing
joy to my heart the robin seem to bring
every note in tune not one out of key
i wont forget that day the robin sang to me

it will stay forever in my memory
a part of me for ever  his song will always be

Beneath the weight of infinite skies,

her eyes, two wells of drowning sighs.

A tear, like a wounded star, descends,

tracing the map where sorrow bends,

and love, unspoken, forever ends.
Been up all night and am in no mood for social interaction today.
For you,
I’d bleed roses,
And cry - daffodils,
And even the sweetest tulips,
Could not impel me,
As do you.
Pick me up,
And open my cover,
But be careful,
Cause I might crumble,
Read my fine print,
Just don’t mock the way I am,
I’ve been through alot since then,
Drugs,
Fights,
Heart breaks,
And more,
Are all the things you’ll find,
In my novel.
In the corners of a bustling day,
A chance encounter, a smile, a simple "Hey."
Two paths converging, like rivers that blend,
In that moment, I found a new friend.

Eyes that sparkle with stories untold,
A heart that's warm, a spirit bold.
Laughter shared over coffee and tea,
In your company, I feel truly free.

We talk of dreams, of hopes, and fears,
Of past adventures, and future years.
In your presence, time seems to bend,
For in you, I've found a kindred friend.

Through ups and downs, through thick and thin,
With you, I know, we both will win.
A bond that's strong, a hand to lend,
In you, I've found a lifelong friend.

So here's to us, to new beginnings,
To shared moments, and endless winnings.
In the tapestry of life, a beautiful blend,
For in you, I've found a true friend.
Dedicated to Eddie - a friend for life - a keeper.
When anger and hatred
flow through your veins,
let love reign.
On gentle Spring nights when
memories haunt you like
the lost dead,
let love reign.
When stress and confusion
overwhelm you and the
future seems as
uncertain as a roll
of the dice,
let love reign.

When you think God is
a grand prankster and
it feels like an
eternal winter in
your heart,
let love reign.
When the pictures remind
you of times long gone,
and the mirror is
a hard place to live,
let love reign.

If you get lost,
like I do in a
poem or a song,
let love reign.
In my dreams, I will
see you, and kiss you,
and hold you forever,
and there will be no
good-byes
only good mornings,
if we let love reign.

Dads and daughters, they go together
All my life I shall grieve
Daddy's girl - I'll be forever
Don't know why you had to leave
You will see me grow and love
So smile from above
Girls need their dad
I'll always miss you and be sad
Rest in peace, Dad
Love your blue eyed little girl
