rk
i remember
how sweet you tasted
strawberries and whiskey
staining my lips,
so beautifully sweet
with a power that burned me
as i couldn't stop myself
from asking for more.
The truth is that
We are finite
One life we have to live
To fill the world
With love and light
Not tarnish it with hate

The truth is that
We are human
Each and every one
So teach the next generation
To do better than we’ve done
The truth is that this poem could probably never really be finished as there are so many messages that need to be sent to the world and words will never be enough
I learned genetics from my mother,
You have stronger chromosomes of your father than mine,
You are like your father.

Don't bask in success and glory
for too long
And neither sulk in failures for too long
Just move ahead

She preserved all the memories
in every corner of her frozen heart
that when she melts
she cries a river
full of pain
from what she held on
for so long.
...and it still hurts.
