I stumbled upon you
Like a child
that finds a pretty stone

Bewildered by your presence
I sat and admired
Counting your cracks
Caressing what makes you glitter

You stood infront of me
Bold and beautiful
Like nothing I'd ever seen

And as you gave me your attention
I think I misconstrued your intentions

I wanted to put you in my pocket
But you said no

So there you sit
Perfectly unpolished
A love

I can only visit

A Single Moment

A severe conflict rages within me
Torn between,
Something rip, rip, condemning
And idleness
The kind of idleness where you’re alone within a storm
Perfectly aware that soon enough you’ll have to follow the currents
And flying debris
But for now,
Just for an instant,
You are still and around you is silence
Not
A calm before a storm
But a calm within a storm
The eye of the storm?
A singly moment when you’re able to stand still for just a
Just a single moment
And take a deep breath before you’re flown away

silentwoods
a blanket of white
descends slowly and steadily,
pausing
only to weave silky threads
through the evergreens.
it resides gently
upon its terminal resting place,
muting the muddy earth
with a barely audible "shh.."
and the finality
of an icy embrace.

We are just cells intertwined
Within cells connected to each other by
Liaisons intertwined within the system
Implemented into the hardware of the
Matrix created by the numbers followed
By numbers intertwined into the
Firmament of system core that nourishes
Threads and strings intertwined within
Cells intertwined within universe of things
Interconnected and attached to each
Other within the vortex of systems hurling
Connected to each other by knots and
Strings leading into webs into nets into
The hardware within the system of
Interconnected universes interlaced
In the multitudes of numbers connected
To other numbers finishing in yourself

You are already dead
You just didn’t reach that point on the road of Time
Yet

It was up there, on the roof of his tall, hollow building where he found his first love picking her favorite flowers out of the old garden. It was up there, where the wind blows, and where intertwined flowers kiss, that he felt like he was truly alone.

It was down there, in his basement, where the man felt safe enough to cry. It was down there, in his personal hell, where he had a prepared noose, for the next girl to ****** him with.

"Love me" he choked out. "Someone please love me. I swear I'll fix everything if someone loved me." he pleaded. But alas, the man's ways of self destruction attracted only the company of his inner thoughts, and his headaches that followed.
Short uninspired story.

Funhouse

An abandoned amusement park,
the ruins of a funhouse,
mirrors cloudy and thick with soot.
Stare at the various reflections:
warped and distorted
to gross effect, like entryways into
equal and opposite pasts.

Do you remember the way
the smiles used to rise up
from the glass and echo
against the translucent light?
Some distant tinny laughter
brings you into daylight:
a chirping bird, a memory,
a rusted bell shaking
against the fog.

Aflaha
Under the shaded tree
As the sun was setting on a beautiful autumn day
She said, "It feels like love"
He didn't say
Pressed her hand to his lips
Close to his heart she could feel his heartbeat
Staring into the sunset
The beauty of each passing moment
Like rustling of autumn leaves
Turning into a song
Timeless and unnamed
Like the wind that carries it
To this day
Now that the flowers bloom
And the little birds sing
On the branches of that tree
Now gracefully bent
With time and age
It's colour turned pale
Green grass around it
Blue skies above
Clouds come and go
On the mountain top
Insects crawling up its bark
Caterpillars eating away it's leaves
Silent and strong
Whistling with the winds
It remembered
The night of the fireflies
When the mountain slept
And the stars hid themselves
In the dark
A light that shown though
It's dense dew covered branches
Leaves shivered and glittered
As it transcended into the sky
Almost lighting up
Every soul on its way
Fireflies carrying them away
Fireflies all the way
Dancing
Till sunshine came
And they went back
To their resting place.
