Dear drowning soul in blackest sea,
what keeps eyes blind to Mercy’s plea?:

“Come unto Me who bear sin’s load.
Find saving rest from Satan’s goad.”

What angel of light or dark could give
the help you crave that you might live?

There‘s only One can bear your weight.
His cross alone is Freedom‘s Gate.

I hate the feelings I normally get.
Sometimes, I find myself absorbed in moments of regret
I hate all those moments, where I made you feel like s*
You remember it now, cause I swear on all that's mine,
I'll never forget!
All I can do now, is unwind my mind, trust in the divine
everything will restore order to time.

the knight

Grace
armor, stiff
a sword and skiff
black eyes
beard bathed in blood
and it's never enough

the thrill to ****
like ink and quill
both bleed and brim
and slice and trim

the knight
huzzah!
the pages yell
below the stages
with wooden weapons
and hungry eyes

he'll fight for queen
or country
or fun
he'll drag you down
throughout the town

his mother prays
his father's gone
his brother's train

the knight
he has no guilt left to cry
a quilt in the night
will muffle his fears
drowning in beers
until the kingdom falls,
a knight's knighthood calls!

I'm an athlete.
I can throw and catch,
and run in the sun-
all shiny and bright.
And you just sleep, sleep, sleep.

Look at me, mama.
I'm a writer.
I do poetry and stories,
all pretty and pink,
and all you do is,
sleep, sleep, sleep.

Look at me, mama.
I can dance.
I'm lonely,
I'll move to France,
meet a woman, and get married.
Look at the ants crawl through
the spilled red juice on
the grass, nature everywhere,
as you sleep, sleep, sleep.

Look mama,
Look at me, mama!
I have children now,
all good and wise,
you're a grandma.
Why don't you wake up?

Please look at me, mama.
Open your eyes.
I'm lonely and afraid.
I'm old now, and cold,
and you still,
just
sleep, sleep, sleep...
This came to me in a dream.

Coerce me not by semblance nor by grace
nor make my purity known before my blights
Appeal to me in pleasantry’s embrace;

convince me you know nothing of my nights

For, in my deepest truth, I am entrenched

in fleeting, mortal nature on this earth

With every light, will darkness be dispensed,

and sadness mirrors every shred of mirth

So find in me, these unbecoming things

hidden in my heart and cowering

Find me there, still clutching this raw wound

Embrace my darkest parts to be attuned

May I find love, in authenticity,

or be alone, but know what’s truly me
