Breeze-Mist
Standing at the water's edge
A little girl peers over the ledge
Looking deep into the water's night
Without the slightest hint of fright
Gazing at the waves alien world
With her eyes shining meekly bold
She smiles pondering her soon to be realm
An alien earth with her mind at the helm

Her voice is green
growing old
rekindling
nature’s
minty breath.

His voice is grey
dull and diminutive
diminishing
our white light.
Splitting the prisms
by dismissing good wisdom.

My voice is diaphanous
blank slates
silver screens vanishing
nature retreating
beneath the fury of the unknown.
Skin scraped deeply,
wound stinging.
Until, it is naked and raw.

but behind closed doors

i’m a fool for your love

-
A breath of spring
Upon a winter's day
Pastel colors whispering

                   stay

A hint of smile
Upon her lips
Greeted warmly with a

                   kiss

Winter's cold
Cannot intrude
It is spring inside this blossoming

                    *prelude
I received flowers for the first time at work yesterday. How beautiful they are
Put your arms around me
Pull me in close
Surround my soul with your love
Drive me into an overdose
Your skin is my drug
And I can't get enough
Your lips, your tongue
The epitome of my dreams
Your mouth, your hands
Simply touching me
Is all that need
To feel the depths of ecstasy

I'm lost in your world
In your eyes
You've taken control of me
A destiny I cannot deny
I'm yours
Your dreams
Your future
Your happy place
And in your heart
I've found my home
A resting zone for my soul
More exciting than anything I've known
Yet, my most peaceful place to go

Your touch, your eyes,
Your soul and your heart
All of yours entangled with mine
And we shall never part
Dedicated to the love of my life, DaSH.

my shadow
unfolded,
captive
of a blind night.

dazed,
straying,
time feeds on days,
unanchored.
