Love at first sight? No son, your vision's blurry,
What's encapsulating your feelings is lust
Powerful, but short-lived
Pleasurable through every taste
But after each taste, that void to quench your thirst will remain
If love is a force, lust must be an energy,
Here for the moment, but we don't know how long it will last.
Some speak of the satisfaction of life
The mere appreciation of little things that may let you breathe easy
Let your heart calm
But I still await this feeling
it foreign to me
Like england is foreign to the recent sun
Oh how I wish I could feel what they speak of
Inspired by Melinda Eva
Time flies little girl,
but now away to bed.
Look at the sky and all the lights,
it all lies ahead.

Time flies! Little Girl
but now away to bed
see how it moves and shifts and tunes—
you better hurry up.

Life flies,
Little Girl no more.
The stars, they shine. But
your shine is looking dull.
“Here is a secret you won't learn in your temple.
The Gods envy us. They envy us because we’re mortal,
because any moment might be our last.
Everything is more beautiful because we’re doomed.
You will never be lovelier than you are now.
We will never be here again.”
~ Achilles
I could end the world
It would be easy
I would simply need to allow myself
To fall in love with
The sun
The moon
The trees
Or some other important thing
And like all other things I fall in love with

**It would leave
