"how ******* sweet
it would be to throw it all away"

you say, from your warm house, in your clean clothes

"to just pack it all in
and live, out there"

pausing to sip your drink

"maybe I should
travel more"

yeah right.

pig-ignorant and blind
well fed and unkind
an ivory tower
of meaningless power
you never will leave behind
It’s spring
on the shore
near Isle of Palms
their toes dig deep
in wet sand

until shards of shells
fashion a strip
that challenges their soles
as they tiptoe forward

A faint-hearted rainbow
bridges sea to sky above
while they walk
along the wind blown shore

She sees the arch of colors as an omen
that love fades
like the bronze backs of teenagers
turn pale in autumn’s shadows

He regards the
vague glow
as a pristine promise
that their love will grow.

He attempts to link
fingers as a sign of endearment.
She smiles, swings her hands in rhythm
and quickens her pace before him
She praises my hands which caress her skin
My sweetheart is full of flavor like champagne
Beauty is not a crime and love is just not a sin
My beloved let me embrace you let me to win

My love your taste is full of flavor I understand
We are on the same frequency and on same band
Let me touch you face to face and hand to hand
My sweetheart you are so gorgeous and so grand

Let my love you and never ever to stop my pursuit
Let me take you, love and taste your wonderful fruit
Allow my love, to pay your beauty charming salute
Just tell me for your sake what I have to contribute

My wounds slit open
With blood oozing out
Spilling and emptying from my veins
My flesh so deeply ruptured
My heart almost beats its end
Only a minute away from death
My desires unheard
My story untold
I regret as I was once an introvert
Wanted the world to know me more
But nearing my death, no more!
It's not me internally that departs
Not just my soul
But also my existence will now only be a secret
Veiled and buried forever.
Oh, you blast'd and blustery evening,
- how you do, indeed, leave me grieving
- a brother o' mine- a partner in crime;
- a peaceful man who ended up freezing
- such a - very - long, long time - ago.

"Careful not to crash your chariot in the snow, Giddy!
For- at -40 degrees: being stuck in a ditch isn't pretty;
- are you sure you want to leave? It's, ever, so misty
- in that deep valley just North of this ole' city:
- Eldorado. Giddy, if you go & are engulfed in snow
- then I'll wake tomorrow with woes- & feeling guilty.
Feeling guilty because I know I could've stopped you
- but you wouldn't hear my spew-  of caring concern.
So- tomorrow morning, I will learn-
- of your death.. I'm sure as heck
- that someone'll stumble upon your carriage wreck."

Aegidius' carriage crashed upon a lonely back road:
-a quiet back road that nobody has ever known,
- a quiet back road where people seldom go;
-where his horses have laid down in the snow & froze
-and he knows- that he will, likely, be the next to go.

God only knows, what hides within those snows!
If he don't end up froze, I'm sure that the crows
- would love to decompose, and dispose of, those
- fleshy bits of his- after all that's left are his ribs
- lying in the snow: torn apart by God only knows.
