I long ago dreamed of you in the night
I know this timing is not right.
It is time for the truth to be free
Though I know I’ll never be on my knee

You were my first crush
But; our years were in such a rush.
I wanted to make you my morning light
Also holding you gentle, yet tight.

I just thought you should know
Now I know I should blow
You were the best
You are still way above most of the rest

So here is a kiss
That I never had a chance to miss
My mind is now at rest
Know that I believe you are forever the best.

The time will come, when you weep for me
Just as my tears have fallen for you
The time will come, when you cry out for me
But I shall never come
The time will come, when your heart aches for me
But I shall be forever gone
A short poem on love, lost love written in 2004

In my life I need someone like you
and I think you do too
Someone to share
Someone to care

In my life I need someone like you
and I know you do too
Someone to wipe the tears
Someone to laugh and cry through all the years
friendship is explored in this short poem written in 2002 for a friend to share with a friend nearing death

No One can see the tears in my eyes
For I wear dark glasses
No One knows my true demise
For I feel my life is blowing ashes

The driver behind me did not pay attention
I doubt he thought how it would forever change my life
The driver what was his intention
I doubt he considered how it would wound my wife

The headaches are pounding drums in my head
The earaches screech like fingernails on a chalk board
But maybe enough is said
I will pray to the Lord

For he will never understand
He will never see me covered in *****
For he might believe he never really had a hand
He will never see the pain as I hide in my closet
In January 2021 I was in a car accident, I did not cause it or plan t, but my life is damaged just as my body and head is..

I long for a woman I can't have,
She is a woman who dances in my dreams,
She is a woman I always think of,
She is a woman I want to
She is a woman I dream of making love to,
She is a woman I'd long to grow old with,
She is a woman I want to share my life,
She is a woman I'm forbidden to have,
She is the woman;I wish the State would free
She is the woman I cannot hide away with,
She is a woman that I must meet Between wire and steel
She is the woman I cannot sneak a kiss,
She is the woman listed by a coded number,
She is a woman;I pray the State will forgive,
She is a queen in the tower of our despair,
that knows how to love me,
Please oh please, Governor do let her go!
This poem is dedicated to the Texas Preacher who fell in love with a woman on death row. This poem was written in late 1997.

(Dedicated to all Law Enforcement)

People Rarely see you protect us from the gangs
the killers of the innocent
People Rarely see you protect us from the drugs
the dealers or the pusher ****

People Rarely talk of the accidents and carnage
People Rarely talk of your heroic rescues or deeds
Not to mention the small child or mother you saved

People love to talk about the ******, the mayhem,
the loss of innocence
People love this talk but rarely but you in a good light
or a positive way

People love to talk and whisper about a television made
World of police and law and order
People love to talk but forget what you really mean,
For you are the true Knight of the modern day.
Dedicated to the memory of a RCMP Officer .

The Burning Desires,
The yearning both day and night;
I can’t ignore
I feel a passion;
An eternal flame
Aching, crying out, begging for
Thee
The need for that moment;
That tender moment of your lips;
adjoining mine.
The caress of your hand upon my face
the feel of my arms wrapped around you
my fingers gently touching your silken hair.
I cannot fight this feeling anymore:
I don’t want to fight it
My white flag is out
To surrender to thee.
I anguish in my own thoughts
I await your terms
For I Long;
To get lost in you
And never Ever return.
This poem written around 2002 to assist a young university student get the attention of a popular female student
