I have observed brightly lit stores...
window displays welcome
with wide open arms.
Kaleidoscope of colours,
dancing to catchy music...
adding on to the allure and charm.

Droves of shoppers have identified this
as their slice of heaven.
Flagging retail therapy
and finding their
pocket of Eden.

I have observed some laying down.
Relaxing...
unwinding...
On patches of grass.
They stare at the sky
with much adoration,
as wispy clouds float on by.

These skygazers have chosen this
to be their little slice of heaven.
With the ground on their backs,
grass between their toes
and azure as their witness...
this is their pocket of Eden.

I have observed a couple of lovebirds,
seated at a café...
immersed deeply in conversation.
In their own private universe,
their own little bubble.
Employing hugs and frequent pecks as punctuation.

There's nowhere else they'd rather be.
From their eyes I know,
they've found their unique slice of heaven.
In each other
they've found their pocket of Eden.

I have observed myself...
I thought myself to be lost
for the longest time.
Seeking a place
for the voice in my head
that only spoke in rhyme.

All is not lost when
I finally found that place.
My little slice of heaven.
For almost a year ago today
I decided on Hello Poetry
as my pocket of Eden.
Thank you all for your kindness and support.
Much love,

Every song ends,
Is that any reason
Not to enjoy the
Music?

Every poem ends,
Is that any reason
Not to let the words
Fill your soul?

Every love ends,
Is that any reason
Not to enjoy it
While it lasts?

Every book ends,
Is that any reason
Not to let the author
Reach inside your
Heart?

Every heavy heart breaks,
Is that any reason
Not to let someone try
To fix it?

Lately, I've been missing so many old pieces of myself
wondering where those parts went
and along what road I lost them
why I forgot them
and who saw me drop them.

I wanted to save
  piece by piece of
  his broken bones.

sooner, I've had realized

He was a lost boy.
   I tried to find him
   but I, got lost, too.

I don't just want a one time date,
I don't only want a perk on your lips,
I don't just want a formal dance,
I don't only want a warm bear hug,
Nor a walk down the gardens,
Nor a one nighter.

I want someone to hold in my arms,
I want someone who makes me lose control,
Someone who would embrace my imperfections,
I know it's hard and tricky,
But I just want someone to keep.
To him,
My midnight dreamer, my only thoughts, my favourite heartbreaker.

The tapestry in the window
Has fallen on one side
But she continues waving
To the passersby
Gifting them gold from her left hand
And showing her stance
Perched upon a lotus
She's a still-life dance
Algae consuming her kneecaps
As she remains in a trance
Her eyes deeper
Than what could be portrayed
With the dye
As we are all deeper
Than what is portrayed on the
Outside
