We don't need to save the world
We don't need to save each other
We need to save ourselves from ourselves

Things change every day
whether we like it or not.
That's why it's so important
to work with what we've got.
Because one day, they just might pave paradise to put up a parking lot

No one said life was easy
No one said we have enough time
And yet, we still work with what we've got.

I'll give it one more day. One more time.
One more step. One more try. One more smile. One more laugh. One more hug. One more kiss. One more shot at happiness.

Nobody sees everything;

Sleep

At this point in life, I don't really care
whether I'm wrong or right.
I'll be whoever, whatever I have to be.
As long as I can fall asleep at night.
