I see Dockers watering pansies with dainty watering cans,
I see transvestites doing DIY,
I see women building bodies,
I see men cook and fry,
And don’t grown men cry?
Gender complexities, ****** complexities,
Why the split when things don’t fit?
Women doing house removals whilst men sit and sew,
So what?
Humanities, biologies, personalities,
Are we not more the same than different?
The World is crazy for categories,
But we do not fit inside.

I was hewn from the helpless limbs of a tree
Which could have grown
To become something magnificent
Through sanding and carving
Through varnishing and the work of human hands
I was formed
In a way, the tree which was mutilated to give me life
Was a foreshadowing of my truncheon fate
I swing through the air once again
A weapon in the hands of a vehement oppressor
Skin splits
Blood sprays
Bone shatters
Bodies litter the dust
Staining the earth with crimson testament
To the cruelty I have wrought
Some of the figures are marred
Reminiscent of the tree from which I was hewn
Which died to give me life
The dark throng of protestors
Are but mortals
Faced by the immortal power
Of those lighter beings
Who wield me, mercilessly
I wish to weep
For the destruction, pain
Anguish I leave in my wake
I wish I was still a living bough
Capable of shedding resin tears
Capable of yielding to greater forces
Not to force the vulnerable to break
But I cannot weep
I cannot yield
I am a baton
A weapon in the hands of those who swore to protect
Yet scythe down those who rise to protect what is rightfully theirs
Ancient grudge of black and white
Break to new mutiny of segregation
Where civil blood of those who seek protection
Makes civil hands who swore to guard them
Unclean.

Days when shyness pinned us to our own demons.
Seeing our hope listed under the removals, since then a woman has stood the trial.
Grey days were when inferiority packaged our existence, having no alliances.
The wise and old, all races…somehow all dream of a free country…
One embracing our intelligence first, ignoring what’s deemed sultry.
Acknowledge our sweet injection of love into everything we touch.
Giving the unmaterialistic treasures and giving birth to God’s beauty.
Pieces of His Majesty shining in our off-springs.
Grant us…allow us to defeat the injustice and constant beatings.
Give us a chance to not see the green-eyed monster, looking back in our reflection.
Allow us to smile without having a flood of tears drowning our stint of joy.
Allow our voices to drown the critics.
Deafen the whistles gasping at sights of beautiful skin.
We love the sight of harmony.
The feeling of understanding.
So long we’ve waited for complete freedom for the world’s life-bearers.
Warm nurtures, replicas of angels...
Fear the power they possess,
Well mannered and hardly careless.
No perfection but a journey to wholeness.
Greatness is forever in us.
See our worth not from what pleasures you had in mind.
Rather polish our worth with genuine words while appreciating our presence.
Women are sprinkled with only what we know and understand.
Morals, values and good characters.
Lovers of love and abundant givers love.

We flipped small coins for fun
and like Apache arrows flew into the morning sun
calling curses on the day,
this was the way we knew.
Ceaselessly the air swirled round the sacred ancient hunting ground until we found the buffalo and John Crow said,
'better dead than being brave,we are the slaves of appetite'
and then the night of death rained on and soon the buffalo were gone.
Bones and stew make bedfellows too and this is what we've got
the empty stomach
empty cooking *** and not a beast seen anywhere.
No happy hunting ground,no arrows leased,no feast,not least no children born,no warming sun,harsh winters come and we must run away
this was the way we knew.
Soldiers blue and few we were
rifles,gunshot,
did we dare to dream tomorrow would arrive,could we,would we learn to live and survive on reservation land,live hand to mouth,or would we move on South to Mexico
where peasants till the soil and shattered spirits go.
This was the way when plainly night became our day and pipes of peace were smoked no more,
ruled beyond a different law
the rule of handout,get out,turn round about and cry
the way of life we knew did die
but we the children are living on, in stories told in elders huts,where cuts of jerky hang on skin lined walls and voices hush as the old one calls for spirits that he's known to rise
and cries again at so much pain and so much lost
and all it cost him and his tribe.
Describing monuments to men,is like paintings of the mists and when you think you've got it almost right
the swirling buffalo moves off again into the endless night
it's difficult,impossible,I can't explain except to say,
'that, what is pain but loss and heartache'
the breaking of another lance and one more agreement,one more given chance,
One plain speaking man of breeding

his people home.

into the hours of temptation.
Even after my own private declaration.
Then I remember how millions blame God for this and that.
Is the 'invisible hand' keeping you down?
Or do I believe that us pawns allow our own removals.

Capricornus the laughing god pulls the strings of those who
