Gwar'th, a scranny peasent boy
from Deastbhillow
Frequented the tavern to hear the local bard play
Enthralled by stories of shipwrecks, cataclysms, Corpses rising from their graves.
He begged the bard over and over.
"Please! take me on your next adventure?"
Gwar'th locked eyes with the bard
Gave him every bit of attention.
The bard always declined,
"it's too dangerous for a child." He said,
"But I'll sing you a song.
The tale of the Red Metal Lute."
~~~
The sky was black
pouring buckets.
You couldn't see but walls of rain
you couldn't hear a ****** thing.
Not even each other speak
Until A loud wail rose from the sea
shattered every window and bottle on board.
In the distance, a figure
unwaivered by the storm.
A ghostly figure,
with a red metal lute
Seemed to fly,
Loom on the rain.
the figure plucked a single string
wailing screams from years of forgotten dead
some sailors on board went mad
The woman and children ran inside.
The captain headed out the cabin.
Grabbed his lute from off the wall
Walked right up to the ghostly demon
Challenged him to a duel.
"I win, you lure me the biggest fish
inside this ghostly sea
Once we haul it back to shore,
you let my sailers leave."
The ghostly demon preached back in wail
"My spoils claim each drop of blood
left upon your ship,
you'll join all the eternal tongues
wailing from my instrument."
They played their lutes so hard that storms whipped bruised wailed and brown
Lighting struck, fire popped and squeltched under the heavy rain.
Not a soul on board could hear the music, for they all deaf from the banshees wail.
But one small float snuck cloaked in shadows from the duel above the sails.
It had a mother and a brother
a baby in the mothers arms.
They made mostly to shore.
The oceans trials took all the family, but I, the baby,
A boy.
I don't know who won, the Captain, the Demon.
But I know one thing is true.
The power that lies within' an instrument
is more then anybody knew.
One foggy night in Deastbhillow
Long after the tavern closed
The bard was packing for a 'venture
loading up the partys caravan to head out of town
Gwar'th snuck on behind the treasure chests.
It stopped in front of a cavern
Five adventurers stepped off
A knight, a priest, a bard, a Clairvoyant
And In the shadows,
Gwar'th.
Down in the belly of the cave
Past the bones and the torches
there was a red glowing from the end
THE RED METAL LUTE
Gwar'th, excited, lunged from the shadows
Alerting the party.
The knight drew his weapon
The bard struck a chord
The priest prayed
And The Clairvoyant read the boys mind.
Together They killed the boy in cold blood.
"What did it look like to you?" Said the Preist
to the knight who slaughtered the boy.
"A beautiful woman.
What did it look like to you?" The knight asked the priest.
"My god."
"What did it look like to the boy?" The bard asked.
"An instrument," said the Clairvoyant, "A powerful instrument.
What did it look like to you?"
The bard looked down.
"The boy."
your moustache is ******* disgusting. do us all a favor and get rid of that ****
2. your “I don’t date” **** gets old really quickly. you’re not “avant garde”, you’re just a ***** who hides his feelings. good luck with that in the future.
3. *** is not an obligation. my body is not a commodity. I do not owe you a *******. my lips are sacred, my tongue is a queen, my ***** is a ******* throne. your peasent ***, is not near worthy
4. you can not buy happiness. unfortunately your daddy taught you at a young age that a new car can fix any problem. unlike you, when I’m 40, ill be earning just enough to get by, but won’t need gin to fill the gaping hole which your money can’t fill
5. karma, is a *****. in fact, karma is the biggest ***** you will ever meet.
6. I am not weak because of my depression. I am not weak because of my sobriety. in fact, my sobriety is the reason my depression is gone, it is the reason my wrists are clean, it is the reason the train tracks I had on my arms have faded to a weird looking tan line.
7. I loved you.
8. loved. past tense.
9. I thank you. you have rid me of darkness. you have emptied me of hate. you have filled me with nothing but the sweet, sweet taste on my tongue from cursing your name.
10. you will never, find anyone who will treat you as good as I did. I opened my fists for you. I let the flies that were lodged between my fingers free. I made you laugh. *******, did I make you laugh.
11. you made Chicago my favorite city. the wind whispers your name at every moment and I’m forever reminded of the person I left behind.
12. I memorized your lips like the keyboard I type on.
I’m forever wondering if you bothered to memorize mine.
I will search for you in my little toy boxes
filled with old ancestors and sayings slipped from tongues, revealing stories of my birthmarks
I will search for you in the light
I will search for you in the dark
I will gentley remove my skin
in my mind you are so royal
so monarch
I will drink my water
all alone
I will light my candles
in the late night and imagine what would be the smell of your cologne
I will stare into the world at night until Im
****** and moonstoned
I will linger wax inbetween thigh bones
flirt tales with wishbones
until all the stars beg me to stop
uttering moans
I am beseeched in interlocking strangle
of submission to my loneliness
and waiting with a white transparent dress
on the bridge of london
hoping to see the dark eyes
that put light in the souls of the peasent in my
disabled heart, mused in desguise
should I sit here and speak the anecdotes
and the lies
of the littler girl inside of me
who everytime thinks of your dies
slower and slower
each time
the goodbyes
and the standbys
I reply
I have ran out of supplies
to fix my sunrise
and now I sit here in the absence of bright skies
life I see takes hold of the wise
but you see my lover
for you I shall be patient
I shall be humble
and I shall be kind.
Once upon a time there was a princess  and a peasent. The princess went to a ball and was screamed at by the tourmentor of a king infront of the whole kingdom. She had forgotten to finish her dinner. Soon tears where streaming down her perfect face and she ran into the stabels where she knew no one could find her.  She sat down on the hay bale and cried. Then a stable boy came in and said, “My fair princess what painful harm is pulling at your precious heart?” He sat down next to her and held her hand until the crying stopped. They stayed like that for hours, “ I should really get back to the ball.” He took his hand and wiped her tears. “Same time in the ‘morrow?” the peasent asked. For the first time she saw what perfect eyes he had. “ Sure same time in the ‘morrow.” He smiled and nodded. She soon stood up and he walked her out the barn. He watched her as she left.
She was a goddess
amongst mear mortals
and I was a peasent
that wanted to be a knight
so I could be her prince charming.
She always gave me little looks
and her father said I would never be good enough
but I made it my life to prove him wrong.
So I collected as much  silver and gold as I could
and I bought me a shanky *** little horse.
I fed that horse
and trained it to be big and strong
soon I was ready to fight for the heart of the Princess
So I managed to get myself some armor it took me a long time to build it up
but when I did my armor was stronger then anyone elses.
Mine was built threw blood, sweat, and tears
and in building this armor I had no fear of loosing
I had no fear of her stupid father because I was comming in with something the
other fighters didnt have and that was love.
The others wanted the Princess for the family money
I wanted to Win her heart
and even if I loose
I know in trying I won already.
The battle came and I was shivering
not in fear but in knowing that I made it to the big show
I got my horse ready fed it a apple before, tied my armor straps tight around my waist
and got ready to fight for my Princess.
The first battle went fast my horse was to fast for the other horse and the man layed flat on his back.
The second man gave a little bit more of a fight you could tell he was from wealth and might
he tagged my shoulder but I stayed upright. I took the corner around back at him and got ready
WAM nailed him right in the sternum he went down like a rock in the water.
The final and most precious battle came
and it was a sword fight
I forgot to make a good sword I thought this was gonna be a horse match.
I had two small blades to his mighty majestic sword. People said this guy was a Demi God the Alpha male
but I wasnt afriad. I got myself ready and prepared for him to  make a mistake I noticed the land was covered in holes from the previous races. He comes running at me without seeing these holes and trips and falls basically right infront of me I jump on his fallen body and slice his throaght and the crowd goes silent. All you can here is the Princess's heart start beating again.
Swollen besotted
cloudy eyes
it's no surprize
you've forgotten lies
and after all
it's what you're
drinking for
well their shallow voices
hurt my ears
awake my fears but
no more tears
I'll just go to the store
once more
with riddled past my past
is present
see they're all Kings
and I'm a peasent
and I can't be pleasent
anymore
it's what I'm drinking for
and she's not me
no she's so free
so heavenly
atleast it seems
so I go low and wander slow
no one to tow along
and the race is won
with the setting sun
I'm right where we belong
with silent screams
and faded dreams
til there's no more war
it's what we're drinking for
We were born in kingdoms
Far away
With gold rings of fire
Just above our heads
I was born in a kingdom
By the river
You were born in a castle by the sea
The night of my first breath
There was nothing special
But if they had listened close
The stars called out my name
You were born to a queen
A child of spring
On a bed with velvet curtains
Every peasent was calling out your name
I was born and worked
Apprentice to a fisherman
You were a princess
In castles by the sea
The sun was hot
Burning through my skin
Casting nets on a darkened sea
A penny a day
To buy a drink
And a place to sleep
Children laughed and played
In the garden
They were your people
And you their little queen
In silken dresses
Dining rooms
You drank wine with
All of royalty
But we grew up
Both knowing something
Missing
A thorn that grew deep inside our hearts
We both looked up and knew that heaven was pretty
But in our minds nothing seemed to change
Then one day the clouds covered up the ocean
And tore the boat  I sailed on
In the sea
Lighting crashed at your window sill
Had you calling for your mother
But you could hear the sea calling out your name
As I beg for breath coughing in the salt
You snuck out for a walk down to the beach
In through the rain I heard you humming sweetly
A lullaby that both our mothers sang
A loving tune was breathing from your lips then
As the sand seemed to swallow up your feet
And on the waves you saw me looking for you
The thorn that grew broke and fell away
I haven't experienced true love, but I'm a fluent speaker of the tainted.
The kind of love where no matter what they throw at you you're still there because you have no place else to be.
The kind that my daddy taught me.
That if you love a woman then you harm her and her children.
See, I've never experienced true love,
And because I was raised in a home without it, I'm at a loss of how to find it.
I don't know how to go about finding the love I want: the kind of love where we can just talk about nothing for hours.
But I certainly know how to attract the poisoned love that my father injected into my veins.
I know how to find the abusers.
The detached.
The lonely.
And no matter what I say I can't fix them.
And I don't want to anymore
Because I'm standing in my meadow waiting for a prince who probably won't come,
Or rather,
I'm waiting on the peasent to prove to me I don't need the knight or the prince at all
Just that I need to drain the toxins from my mind and heart and find it in me to love the one who offers me nothing
But yet brings me everything,
In return for one thing:
Me
I asked a boy what I should write about and he said to write on my experience with True love of I had any. This was my response.
Her
I can feel her slipping away, oh how I wish she would have stayed. This is the price I must pay, if I only wouldn't have been such a coward that day.
Oh I love her, this I now know, it's a crying shame that this realization came so slow. Now she's off with him in a different flow, and oh how that fact has laid me so low.
I'd say that indescion was my greatest flaw, I can confidently Say that I've broken no laws. Now this shame is my shawl, inside me this sickness crawls.
She humbled my pride, tore down my walls, now my conscious tans my hide, and from my throne of arrogance I fall.
Sometimes I ask myself "what if" but inside I know it be no different.  Inside me something shifts, if only I hadn't been so distant.
I wonder where it all went wrong, or that maybe it was meant to end like this all along.
To her I was a peasent, to me, she was divine. Although our relationship wasn't always pleasant, I'd give anything for just a little more time.
And now here I stand on the edge if this wall, like an Icarus posed to take a great fall. And all for the want of a mate, it really is a shame that people only care when it is far, far to late.
Just to prove to you
How good I am at what I do
For every three ill give you five
For every four ill give you nine
For every time i breath i inhale
Glory
Glory hallelujah
Who am I too ya?
Should you think me
Leader
Peasent
Messiah
No longer present
A disease
A dream
A cannonball soaring through
Ocean air and beyond
The **** bang boom crack
The attack from each ship
I am not just a cannonball but a captain
So tell me why I let my thoughts lead me
Ode to the mind
All will concede to me
Because I am heavy
My words weight a ton
My print is never done
Within my eyes burns the sun
Two bright beautiful stars of greatness
I am greek thought
From my eyes shoot beams of light
The opposite of what you expect
Of what you know i am not
A force of nature I cannot stop
I am on top
The son of the universe
Jewel of the earth
I can do so much to show you my worth
But for so many
I shine less bright
I slow down
For you for every three ill give you four
For every four ill give you five
With you I can make sense of what I mean
What it is to be
Sometimes im too much
A burning raging fire
Ready to incinerate all in its path
But for you
I am a covered camp fire
Made calm by your weather
I guess the reason I love the rain so much
Is because I see the planet every time
I look into your eyes
With cloudy skies
And drops of rain
Gently dropping by
I guess the reason I love the rain so much
Is because I burn so hot
And its nice
To cool down every once in a while
I write this for the world and for my love
