Somewhere in the ether
                         there is a chord attached
to a suspended pendulum
                         which sways too and fro
between the arc of time.
                          Each point of return are
past and future whereas
                           the trajectory is present.
Thoughts are magnetic
                          thus becoming attracted
to the metal ball, they are
                         unable to alight and will
forever be unmomentus.

Over the years the notes play on
The music gets old so we write new songs
Practice our words and keep them in key
Times to change then repeat the beats
Patterns I hastily strum
Unique precisions I pick
I am but a fungus in the forest
A back woods hick
The flower, the ****
***** my guitar
I am an ember in the fire
Music is indeed my greatest desire

She had a deep ocean for a mind...

And a gold chest for a heart...

Maybe that is why she was built of mahogany...

To withstand the lightning strikes of envious eyes...!
Just something short!
*Mahogany is often considered the wood of protection. Legend has it that it can even withstand lightning!

some words
don’t exist

they are phantoms

teasing our
tongues

invading our
souls

spreading through
our veins

making us believe
in them

so we will share
them with others

that is the only
way they

can live
because they

don’t exist as
anything else
The vile have their thoughts
And capes full of evil spell

Slim are your chances
To go unscathed

Use no words
Just wear your lucky charm
