all that pain
and belittlement
you served me
day and night
when no one
was looking
made the little
man within you
feel much, much,
much bigger
but now you
stand before me
weeping
with no teeth
and the big man
within me
has forgiven you.

hell, I thought, and pain
and death and ****
all around me.

hell with no escape,
pain without relief,
death amongst the living
and **** compiled
in the mirror
in front of me.

what I needed was
an act of decadence
to break the staleness,
something spontaneous.

so, I took back my last
swallow full of whiskey,
slicked back my hair and
grabbed the first woman
I saw by the hips.

I pulled her closely to me,
and then kissed her
very passionately.

she pushed me away
almost instantly and
as I turned around,
she hit me in the back
with her purse where
I heard threats of violence
come slithering through the air
from her boyfriend’s tongue.

I bade them all adieu
and walked out the door.

I was an imp without a care
knowing that I have lived
up to the very thing
I want etched on my grave:
regret nothing.
time it goes so fast before our very eyes
gone before we know it how quickly it just flies
our children grow up fast with children of there own
they have families now how the time as flown

we  still have our memories to look back upon
of the times  we had  how quickly they moved on
its the way of life the world is made they way
tomorrows we all knew are now just yesterday
You walk through the entrance of a cave
It is dark at first and quiet
You see a glimmer of light
At the end of the darkness is a small lake of water with a waterfall

Lake of diamonds

The water is warm, not too warm
The temperature is just right
The water is deep turquoise
When light from above hits it, it shimmers

Lake of diamonds

You walk into the water and stand in the middle
The bottom is soft, silky sand
As you stand there, the waterfall begins to gently pour over you
You move to let the water run over you

Lake of diamonds

Rays of bright light shine from an opening above
They are golden in color
The water sparkles and glistens  like diamonds as the light hits

Lake of diamonds
He repeats himself a lot.
I love that about him.
I also love the times when we seperate in public (like to use the bathrooms)
And I see him in the crowds with an almost panicked look, eyes darting around,
And then when his find mine,
His face relaxes, and he just smiles
One of those rare amazing smiles
That actually reach the eyes and burst out.
I love that.

Sugar is harmfully addictive
but imagine going without.
A taste of bittersweet chocolate melting in your mouth.
But look a little deeper processed in your bread, hidden sugars in every box and bottle that you’re fed.
Mailodextrin the silver bullet of death, they sprinkle it on your potato chips and they hide it in your dips! Processed and re-processed till the sugar has been refined, many American eats 3 pounds of sugar a week and of that fact they’re blind.
Insulin levels suffer as the diabetics take their dope, another box of ice cream, another cherry Coke.

Pharmaceutical, healthcare and insurance profiting..
A sudden stop by McDonald’s on the way to Burger King.

I was starving in
Pennsylvania.
One night, I had
enough.
Done with it all.
The poverty and
sickness.
The drunken mad
nights
and dog-fight days.
Brutality for breakfast.
Served sunny side up
runny yolks with
butterflies trapped in
the yellow sunshine.
Spiders built webs in
my soul.

I stood on the torn-up
couch in my living room and
yelled at the walls.

Listen, you devil.
You want me, you better be
ready for a fight.
I paced the floor like a
washed-up heavyweight champ,
eyeing the ceiling like a
drunken sparrow in a cat's mouth.
