Guilt

Would you still love me if the night spoke my sin,

if the ash of my mistake clung to our bodies,

if the wind carried whispers of my guilt

and our skin bore the scent of shattered stars—

would your hands still gather me from the void?

Stand there
On the grass covered with a coat of snow
Smell the cold
Feel the peace
Touch the white that fell on the chair in the backyard

It's uncomfortable
I'm wet and shivering
But loving every second

Memories of snow days
When I was little
Flood back to me like a tsunami
It hits me
Except I like it

Suddenly
I'm making snow angles
Building snow men
Watching soft cold comfort fall from the sky
Hearing the fact that every single snow flake is different
And being absolutely mesmerized

I remember sticking my tongue out
Trying to catch one
Trying to taste the wonder of those flakes

Now, many years later
I stick my tinge out again
Waiting for a snowflake to fall----
But it doesn't come
It doesn't land where I want it to
I'm older now
Things have changed
I miss the way they once were
When things still weren't great
But at least
I got to taste the snow flake

You and I are like two stars
That shine in the same sky
We share a common light
That guides us through the night

You and I are like two birds
That sing in the same tree
We share a common song
That fills our hearts with glee

You and I are like two flowers
That bloom in the same garden
We share a common fragrance
That makes us feel so smitten

You and I are like two souls
That love in the same way
We share a common bond
That grows stronger every day

You and I are polite and respectful
To each other and to all
We share a common value
That makes us stand so tall

You and I are romantic and passionate
To each other and to life
We share a common fire
That keeps us warm and bright

You and I are perfect for each other
In every aspect and every sphere
We share a common destiny
That makes us one, my dear.

Who am I?

I am like the wind that goes unseen.
I am the shadow, untouchable, fleeting.
I am the darkness whose light eludes your sight.

Who am I?

I walk beside you, invisible yet near.
I live and breathe among you,
Yet you cannot feel me.

I am like the fading wind,
Whispering through the silence,
Longing to be felt.

Thirty Nine
You opened the window and the rain came and wet everything
It’s your fault your room is now destroyed
Your fault because you opened the window
Even though you just wanted a breeze
And needed to breath some fresh air
And couldn’t have predicted that there would’ve been a violent wind
It’s your fault
Your fault
Not about the rain, the rain room nor the window

5am,
snuffed between the fingers of the day
slumming stars and a night not fully broken,
the waking world, its petals still to open
is filled with silent promises unspoken

Odd Odyssey Poet
Wayfare angel,
Yonder the North Star shining beyond
A divine herald sent from the heavens above.

Oh, this night, a wondrous night unfolds,
A child is born from a pure and holy womb,
In a humble manger, the Saviour lies,
To all ye shepherds and wise men gathered here,
Follow this radiant star, and behold the light of the world.

Arise, ye who dwell in the realm of the living,
Come forth to witness this miraculous dawn,
For a child is born, the Christ,
The Lord of lords; oh, sweet infant,
Your birth and sacrifice hold profound meaning for our world.
Let us worship Him who has come to save us—
Christ, the Lord of lords.

Snow flakes fall
Look like they will stick to the ground,
Build up
Make something wonderful

But when they finally reach it
They melt
They go away
Like my dreams of building a snow man
He never sticks
