We feel what
we write.
We struggle over
what might.
In our head is the battle
that we fight.
Sometimes we just
want to know.
Do I stay or should I go.
In our mind so much thinking.
We stare at this wall
without even blinking.
In life we feel different emotions.
A trusting heart brings
love and devotion.

Little boy scream
Let out the cries
May they help with your suffering
The relentless pain
Forever drags you down
You are unable to gain
Nothing seems to end
One moment you can breathe
Then the hand is back again
Blocking your airway
Tightening the grip
Making you stay
Refusing to let you slip
Runway from the past
Time is forever stuck
Making your hell last
There is no tick tock
The hand refuses to move
On your clock
Maybe if you could let the past go
It wouldn't continue to haunt you so
Taunting you with painful memories
Stop focusing on what was
Focus on what could be

the sun will
kiss the earth
each day
and soon
these dashing lines
of youth
hard charcoal, pen and ink
dancing, arousing
the parchment
shall also fade
portraits ought to
be lived
not
preserved
This began as an exercise in Architecture Design class. We each had to do a self portrait and design a space for ourselves for the rest of our life! One space! Very introspective n mind altering exercise!

Arriving in a lonely dark room
In which my misery loom
Unpacking a suitcase of doubt
No windows nor any way out
I take off the coat that protects me
It was made of your laughter and glee
Now I settle atop of this bed
Supported by things that I dread
I took the path that lead me here
For love and joy was all that I fear
I will forever live in a room full of sad
When I ran away from the good that I had

a sweet uncertain
future awaits
us all my friend
please
teach me
to forgive my
yesterdays
oh the pain
oh the pain
yet again
yet again
teach me
to forgive
dear friend

Colorful light shines
rain shower and sun collide
you are my rainbow
