Midnight Solstice
Kath Jul 2015
We were on a escapade.
We took a break from ourselves.
We ran away.

We did things we've never done together
And we did it on the first day.
We sat beside each other.
We knew each other's story.

As the both clock hands stroked at that same upper direction,
We continued to run.
We held our hands and ran as we crossed the road
We laughed during the wee hours like it was our last.
We had fun.

More stories to spew during the night
More laughter.

And like any other short story, things come to its end.
We parted ways
On opposite directions.

There, the day ended.
And so did our little relationship.
It was short-lived
But it was my memorable yet.

Introduction
Kath Jun 2015
I am new to this poetry thing.
So, forgive me if I do the wrong thing.

In reality, I am a photographer.
And yes, I am a Instagram-er.

But kidding aside,
Please do stay by my side.
Or else I might cry.

Again, that was just a joke.
So c'mon, join me for coke!

Reflection

You left me.
I was miserable.
Yet someone came.
I denied that she was just like you.
But, she actually is.
Everytime I am with her, I see you.

You have the same personality.
You share the same race.
You both have that unwaivering determination.
You both share the same faith.
I gave emotional attachment to you both.
And then, both of you left me.
This goes out to my senpais and to my sisters.

I was so afraid to be miserably be with you
But I realized
I was actually afraid to be miserably without you.
