We double over...
Curse of the weighty tombstone
tolling upon our backs.

We mull over...
If the string was pulled too taut;
If it deserved more slack.

We pretend to get over...
While we go to sleep
on a bed of scattered tacks.

Tomorrow will see us
keeling over...
Unfound...
Undiscovered...
Hidden along uncharted tracks.

Still the tremors
that crack my voice

Strengthen the resolve
in my bated breaths

Ease the tremble
that consumes my digits

Deepen the slumber
in my nightly deaths
i'm still figuring out about
what to write.

maybe a little bit about
how we fight
or how you vanished out of sight?

i'm still figuring out about
what we had
it's just too sad
oh-uh, am i going mad?

i'm still figuring out about
what i felt
because all i ever had
was gone in a sec.

i'm still figuring out about
what to write.

maybe about
the sleepless nights
or our endless fights?

or maybe a bit about
the sensation you gave
or your presence that i crave?

i don't know.
i'm still figuring it all out.
what do you guys think?
a move of broken glass
black as polished leather,
burnt wood, the big shifter

that trembles steel under us,
the horizon hides, above
a curtain made of holes

with stars around as the
lost language of wind,
howls of salt, tide of night
Beautiful sky in a blue frock
Designed with glittering stars
And a golden button of moon
In the transcendent white shoes of clouds
Moving like a dancing cobra
Enchanting trees and rivers
Falling in love with the midnight glow !

The time has passed
And the tide has changed
But you and I remain the same

Not truly knowing where
anything begins, or ends--
we're appeased by appearances...
this includes ourselves.
Yet we are capable of extending
a love far beyond ourselves.
It is when that which we've
loved is delivered from appearance--
that we're utterly consumed
by what's been unanchored.
That we're tried by every size
and shape of absence in the form
of emotion...disbelieving we held
such a space within ourselves,
as was held for us.
Convulsively appealing with
this little vessel...till whose
sea becomes mirroring calm.

.
I wrote her a poem
then watched for her smile,
hoping that one I would see

I gazed on her features
just hoping to find,
a grin right there showing for me

She read a few lines
but nothing much changed,
a standard expression she wore

I poured out my heart
in this poem today,
it says she’s the one I adore

It told of this love
that I have in my heart,
to her it would always be true

Still it’s the same,
her face as she read,
I’m not sure what else I should do

When now as she finished
she looked up at me,
a tear seemed to form in her eye

And then she kissed me,
so soft on the lips,
and breathed an affectionate sigh

She said that she loved it
each line that I wrote,
penned in a beautiful style

Then sighed once again
and now I can say,
in the end it was me who did smile
Ok, I know, not one of my best. But I got the title stuck in my head and had to do something with it. I thought it was a cute play on words.
Paint a picture with stars
The moon doth give light

Dreams come true or not
Dreaming a pleasure ever got

Seldom found a love true
In time hearts different hue

None is hurt by thorns
We just step on it

Lend a hand wipe tears
Stay long till trouble clears

Love is not ever near
Moments found a treasure dear

Value of a poem determined
Hearts touched and souls defined

Passion a flame fanned high
Separation the cause love die

Bells of glory heard not
By hero in body bag

In the eyes of mother
A child you always be

All life lived blaming parents
When gone they proved correct
