SlenderMan
Rose Jul 2012
SlenderMan is a jellyfish.
Deliberately dangerous
and deadly.
Waiting
to
attack
the next victim
it sees.
Once attacked
you won't be able to
forget it.
The scars
will
remind you
for life,
if
you live
through it.
The arms are
long
and lengthy.
Its body has
no
face.
The way their presence
made you feel will never
leave your memory.
Written in seventh grade when I was obsessed & feared this awful creature.

Walking through the woods at night with increasing fear,
you'd better be scared because the silent watcher, Slenderman, is here.
You stop in a clearing, mouth ajar in fear.
Before you, is a man with no face nor any hair.
His skin as pale as flour, donning a fancy suit.
You take off into the woods in fear but it's too late, he's already in pursuit.
Fleeing through the woods at night in overwhelming fear, you try and try to hide in the darkness of the night.
But even still, you can see his featureless face as a dimly glowing light.
You cry out for help in the darkness of the night.
But, you're too deep in the woods for anyone to assist in your plight.
It's too late now to ever escape, you sit and cry with your mouth agape.
He silently approaches and waits, you stare back and decide to put up a fight.
It's no use, no help at all.
When you entered these woods at night, you were doomed to fall.
Just a short poem about Slenderman I did for Creative Writing Club. We had a halloween writing prompt this week (a bit early considering it's only just turned into October). So, we chose our favorite urban legend or myth and wrote a poem or story about it. So, yeah.

Slenderman
Jindomess Nov 2013
Surrounded by oak wood
There he stood
Staring at me
With no eyes
As tall as a tree
He caught me by surprise
I hear a loud sound
Then I am thrown to the ground
With tentacle like arms

Actually you know what I will just stop there... I will let you just think about that last line

Oh, how I always wanted to live in an 8-bit world
Side-scrolling action
Duck hunts galore
As much currency as a first-world country
It’s hard not to love it
From Pokémon to Kid Icarus
The nostalgia nearly takes my breath away
I won’t let problems stack up like Tetris
I’m not being chased by ghosts crying,
“Wacka, wacka, wacka, wacka, wacka”
This isn’t a video game, it’s real life
When you die you don’t respawn like nothing ever happened
No, this is it. One life.
I’m placing blocks in Minecraft
Pwning n00bz in Call of Duty
Gaining headshots on Grunts like Master Chief
Gathering rings in Sonic the Hedgehog
Sneaking around like Ezio Auditore da Firenze
And delivering newspapers like Paperboy
While escaping the mysterious Slenderman
I’m living in this virtual world without danger
I don’t want to make it on these streets like Frogger
I don’t have big shoes to fill like the plumber or the blue blur
This ain’t no sandbox or first-person shooter, it’s reality
So, live it to the fullest, don’t rage quit
First full poem.

Throat chakra ******* blocked
Happiness set back
Marijuana is in
Me pushing
For something

Alcohol on the brink of my lips!
Let me ******* breathe.
Let me take a ******* break.
Let me sink into a ******* hole.
Let me fly out of the ******* sky-
FREE ME!
FREE ME!
FREE ME!

Paranoia is on set
******* slenderman or saints
I can't be soothed!
I can't be stopped!

I was made for greatness
I was made for better than this
My heart beats with the power of our people
Thumping with thoughts from ancestors
I ******* feel it
What the **** am I feeling?
Let it out!
Let it out!
Let it out!
*******...
Let.
It.
Go.
****!

Use me
Feel me
FEEL ME

Borders untouched
Inlands unkempt
Swirling clouds of unstoppable chaos
Raining down with compassionate entities

They say welcome
We say
Welcome
Welcome
Welcome
They sing it
We scream it

We breathe everything into existence
They say its about time
You have been here before
You have been lost
But you are here now
Welcome home

We are high
We are low
We are falling and flying
and feeling and *******
Making some kind of use
In this physical
*******
LIFE

(Cant go there anymore
Cut off
Cut back
GET OUT OF MY HEAD
OUTTA MY MIND)
I come upon a rickety old bridge,
glancing down I wonder what it
would be like to float free.
Free of this life and all that it brings.
That would be something else entirely.

Lost in thought, I soon realize
I'm being watched.
Looking to my right,
I see a tall faceless figure in between
the barren trees.
It just stands there
staring at me.
What does it want?

I move along the bridge, my heart
racing at every step.
I hope my time
has not come, for I want to leave on
my own accord.
I stop just short of a rotting
board. I hear nothing but eerie silence.

My heart still racing, I turn around, noticing
the figure is there no more.
What could this possibly mean for me?
Is it really my time?
Am I being lead to my untimely demise?
These questions remain unanswered.

Next thing I know, I fall through the floor.
The last thing I see before I hit the water below,
is that figure again even slender than before.
The last face I'll ever see,
is that faceless figure staring back at me.
The Slenderman.

The trees juice swallowing
Dread-locks opening the
key to my heart
Pulling Amber Agate to the end
wishing the wagon
was my good luck hand
So helpful than my

The thirst compelled her
So Gingerly lemon tea

deleted numbers
Now don't disappear on me
I was abandoned too many times
The dirt and the sand stayed still
No cell phone picture to install
We feel abandoned perhaps not all but the ones that do here is a hike to find something with meaning is it in the stars or our numbers hearing the loud sounds of the big hike of thunders

If you go down to the woods today,
Prepare for a big surprise,
For there you'll meet the Slenderman.
Believe me, I'm not telling lies.

As soon as you pick up that paper,
You're really not in for a treat,
For if you were to turn around,
Slendy, you will meet.

Watch out for Slendy's... Can I say face?
For then you'll see your doom.
Make sure your flashlight's on bright.
For in the shadows, he does loom.

No where's safe, not even the bathroom,
So I wouldn't go in there.
No, really, I wouldn't...
Welcome to Slendy's Lair.
Yes, I wrote a poem about the Slenderman. Deal with it! xD
Maybe he wasn't there
maybe I'v gone insane
All i know is the voices in my brain.
He needs another soul he needs another kid.

I slowly try to refuse
he comes back to me
I am a slave for him, he'll **** me if i don't
he'll hurt me instead.
I never wanted that.

His life is what he makes it,
he devours the children souls
He takes away there happiness
so all they are is cold

Lifeless body's in his hands
in a pile there are more,
he'll never know love
he will never try
i'm nothing but a slave to him till the day i die.

So ill bring another child
into his dark cold woods,
he takes them
and makes them like the rest
he is and always will be the Slenderman.
hope you like it ^///.///^  i had fun writing it!

Slenderman

Sometimes I walk at night alone
He follows me home
He follows me home
Sometimes he speaks in mumbles and moans
I mimic his tone
Repeating his poem
Wraps my hands and leads me to his throne
Forever we roam
Forever we roam
He tells me that one day, we'll share a soul
And now I know...
That THIS is my HOME.
