And if someone asked me how much I miss you, & even though words cannot formulate how much my being aches for you I'd say:

"I think I miss him the way how the football field misses the knees of men, as they kneel in victory.

Think I miss him in the way how a child misses her mother's breast, as she has gotten too old for that now.

Think I miss him the way a mother misses the bulge in her belly, after she has given birth.

Think I miss him the way how the playground misses the children, because they're on summer break.

Think I miss him the way how a druggie misses the smell of *******.

Think I miss him the way how a stripper misses the pole after work and the way how a ******* misses being penetrated.

Think I miss him the way how a mother miss her cold blooded, murdered son

Think I miss him the way how the sheet misses lovers after nights of *** only to find out they're lovers no more.

Think I miss him the way the trees miss leaves during fall
And the way how the ground misses the leaves during spring.

Think I miss him the way how the sky misses the moon during the day and the way how it misses the sun during the night.

Think I miss him the way how my lips misses his, and in the way how my finger misses his skin."

And if they ask when I miss you the most:

"I think realize I miss him when the most, when days get rough, and the days when forcing a smile just isn't enough."

I miss him like

A lock misses its key
A key misses its chain
A chain misses its charm
A charm misses its good luck
Good luck misses its horseshoe
A horseshoe misses its hoof
A hoof misses pounding the ground
The ground misses rain
Rain misses falling
Falling misses its love
Love misses its heart
A heart misses its beat
A beat missing from a song
A song missing its audience
The audience missing its star
A star missing their freedom
Freedom missing me
Because you took yourself away

missing you.
rosalind Aug 2017
I know I shouldn’t
But i miss you like the sun misses the moon.

I can’t help
But miss you like a rain filled sky misses the sun.

No matter how much I try
I still miss you like a desert misses the rain.

I wish I could stop
But I keep missing you like the darkness misses the light

I see your picture
And miss you like the night sky misses the stars

I miss you like the cold of winter misses the heat.
I miss you like the blind misses sight.
Like the lame misses walking.
Like a wound misses healing.
Like an alcoholic misses liquor.
Like an addict misses the high.

Without you
I feel like a warrior without their armour
Like the world without people.
I am the world and you are the people.
Without you, I am nothing.

Yet you are a parasite to me,
slowly chipping away at my core,
unaware of the destruction in your wake.

And I just can’t stop missing you.
me being cheesy and gross and in love
I miss you like that old vagrant on a cold blistering night misses that vague and almost unfamiliar memory of his own bed, at whatever age it was he had it, if ever...

I MISS YOU LIKE THE MOON MISSES THE SUN IN THE SLOW PACED DARKNESS OF SPACE, THE SPACE BETWEEN THE SUN AND THE MOON INTERRUPTED BY EARTH, UNTIL THAT NEXT ECLIPSE........  I miss you....

I miss you  like crashing waves miss stillness.

I miss you like HIP HOP misses "The Realness"...... and I miss you.....

I miss you like the old, the lonely and dying misses childhood.... I miss you like that childhood misses its mother while she's a way out at work at two jobs, day and night trying to support them. I miss you like that mother misses the promises once uttered by the man who left her..... I miss you like that promise breaker misses his freedom, the touch of his woman and the son he never met, all within a 8x9 steel and concrete place of his own making..... And I miss you...

I miss you like an inhale misses an exhale. Both forever at each others end, attempting to catch one  another, until that fatal moment they do... And I miss you! I miss you like that lost wondering soul misses the body. Like hands miss touching, like feet miss running, like lips miss,,,,,,, like lips miss forming words to express that emotion this poem is about. And I miss you....

I miss you like thought, consciousness and ideas miss eternity.... I miss you like eternity misses a stand still moment within itself that will never be again. Like the body misses a healthy heart, unbroken and unscarred... I miss you like fresh wounds miss time, the time that doesn't seem come fast enough to make those wounds painless, decensitized scars,,,, or that silly thing they call healing.... Ironically, I miss you like scars miss the need of healing...............

I miss, you because I love you, I love you so I miss you,,,,,, perpetually.........
He misses you that he cries all day
His heart beats faster remembering the memories you both share together
He misses you like tomorrow will never come
He wishes that he can stop the moon so that the last night you both spend together never end
Pain penetrate his body and soul each day he recalled the day you left him

His heart longs for you and you alone
Since you left him he hasn't found love he wishes  you'll be here because his loneliness grips him
his legs are shaking because he's thinking about you
He is craving to hold your arm once more
He wishes the day you left him never existed
He misses you so much that it suffocates him
He misses you smile
You happiness
You touches
You lips
Your smooth and tender body
He misses how you make him smile
He misses u  that tears run down from his eyes like ocean
He misses you that his joy fades away each time he remembered the day you left him helpless
He misses you and he want you back
He is ready to let go all the past
He is ready for a new beginning
He said come back to me and our love will be stronger

It's selfish, but I hope he misses me. I hope he sees her and misses me. I hope she kisses him and I hope it's never as gentle as the way I would kiss him, I hope she holds his hand when things get tough, but I hope her grip is too tight.

I hope he misses me. I need him to ******* miss me. I hope he looks into her eyes and wishes they were mine, I hope he brushes her hair and wishes it was pink or blue or green or any colour other than hers, I hope he wakes up in the middle of the night wishing he'd never let me go.

I hope he misses me. I hope she walks beside him and I hope he reaches for her hand only to find she's a different height to me and I hope it's not as comfortable. I hope he turns to her in bed and wishes it was me tucked into his side and I ******* hope he stutters when he says her name.

I hope he misses me. I hope he misses me half as much as I miss him. I hope he sees what kind of mistake he's made because I am so ******* kind and I was always so ******* gentle with his heart and I always handled it with so much care. I hope she slips and I hope she drops it. I hope she tries her best but I ******* hope it isn't enough.

I hope he misses me.
I am angry and I am hurting and the only way I know how to get these feelings out is through poetry, please forgive me

He sits in his quiet room
He misses the happiness
He misses the fights
He misses the things people don't pay attention to
He misses the way she turned to mush when she saw a baby
He misses the twinkle in her eyes when she looked at him
He misses the smile she had when they talked about the future
He misses the incredibly small things
The things he wishes people paid more attention to
The things that make someone fall so far in love that they can't escape
The way a person feels safe in ones arms
The way they breathe so softly when they are dreaming
The way a person just being in the same room calms everything
The way a person says cole slaw
The way a person can dream about and describe their future so vividly
The way a person can ask you anything and you can't help but tell them
The way they frown when they are mad
The way they want to frown when they are mad but can't because your their
The way you make things better
The way they take your breathe away when they aren't are there in the morning
The way they change everything
And as he sits and thinks
All he can find himself thinking about is
His
Eternal
Rapturous
