Watching winter's pond
Notice all the ripples gone
I see death again

I laid myself down
beneath the summer moon.
The breeze was warm,
and grass was cool.
I gazed at the trees
swaying in the breeze,
and listened to the stream
flowing free as could be.
I want to be the water
running wild as a dream.
I want to be the rain
dripping off of the leaves,
but what I want even more
is to be the blood in your veins,
to take over your heart,
and soak up all your pain.
I would make you forget
all the hate and disdain.
I would fill you with joy,
and kiss your soul everyday.
~ I would take it all away ~

This distracted motioning
even though the world is static,
I'm  suffering from vertigo
of where I stand tall.

In a world slowing down
I see motionless moments
the faster it speeds up.

There's a tiredness in my bones that runs deeper than my ability to think. I am tired of this life, of living for the others I am driven to love. They are difficult. I am exhausted.

I'm not sure of much,
But I know that I want him.
My hands in his curls,
His eyes in my mind,
Our clothes on the floor.
No hesitation.
Our bodies together,
Our souls intertwined,
Our breath merging.

He steals my senses.
He is all I can smell,
All I can taste,
And my hurried tongue wants more.
Feeling his weight on me,
Sliding hands, crumpled sheets,
A song of moans fills the air,
Followed by breathy silences.
Pull me closer,
Don't let me go.
