My past won't protect me
My future is set to destroy me
what will I be doing now
smiling at the creations
is everything just decorations
it's all set up, and I keep my time
It's now what I do
It's in present how I be
don't fight, be at peace
I live and breathe the tranquil.
The sun’s brightness urged me to move on,
But the darkness of clouds whispered, "Stay."
Even when the brightness was stronger,
I was standing alone in the "gray."
Yesterday, I was nothing .
I was happy.
You pulled me down .
Treated me like trash.
It ignited a fire in me.

Now, I shine bright ,
just like the Sun .
Don't come closer
You will burn ,
In my light.
I guess it’s the way
you look out of windows
on cold blue mornings
that leave me speechless,
the way you speak quietly
almost like a prayer,
your questions do not
require a single answer.
I am happy to remain
silent in my observations,
I am happy that nature is
the companion of intelligence,
I do not call society my friend,
I am the master of my own
bewilderment …

Storms have passed
I can now see clear
My hopes are near
Destiny has changed
         My purpose
Storms have cleared my mind
I never thought I’d find
What I was seeking for

Storms were rough for many years
I feel there was a reason
Don’t know it thou
I found my destiny
It lives within my soul
Loving every minute of each day
I have so much to say
I’m very thankful
Storms made me see
         How to bee
Storms of life
Raindrops stopped falling
I hear you calling
It’s an addiction, an affliction,
And I don’t know what to do,
For I am madly and deeply,
In love with Sudoku.

It’s unnerving, disturbing,
And I am going all cuckoo,
For I can’t take my hands off
A game of Sudoku.

In the morning, I’m yawning,
But my fingers are all glued,
To a pen on a Daily,
Immersed in Sudoku.

A passion, an obsession —
With numbers just a few,
Oh I can’t get enough,
Of this wretched Sudoku.

One to nine, how I pine,
For these numbers in a queue,
On my phone all I see is,
A game of Sudoku.

I run late, miss my date,
In a mess through and through,
My heart full of digits.
And head, of Sudoku.

An attraction, a distraction,
I sigh and sob and rue,
To be so in love,
With a game of Sudoku.

It gets worse, now a verse,
Such a long poem too—
Oh me, oh my,
All for Sudoku.
Written in 2014. No longer addicted but still love it. Know when to stop
Soft hush
a lilac hush,
spilling from heaven’s cufflinks.

Dust-throated wind,
draped in violet lace,
forgets how to whisper.

Once,
a petal kissed my wrist,
feather-light, sugar-spun.
(It melted before I could love it.)

Beneath the boughs
time folds like an origami swan.
A child presses footprints into fallen silk,
calls for lullabies.

Glittering
a secret only the butterflies know,
written in ultraviolet sighs.

Stay.
Stay.

But the season is shifting,
jacaranda knows no permanence.

A lilac hush
soft hush
dissolving into sky.

The ground is a love letter
written in violet, waiting for rain.

03/04/2025
Jacaranda's have bloomed in my school.
Farewell :(
