Alex's Pipe Dreams
The noise stops
The sky is clear
Once again
Your hand drops
To my hair
Your mouth is near
But there's no sound
Your eyes, they speak
But I hear silence
All around
I'm not weak
But without you
I lose ground
Your presence
Brings peace
Don't care for much
But you I'd miss
Your lips on mine
No better touch
C'mon ******
I'm in a rush
The noises start
Our lips part
My mind won't stop
Your hands drop
I didn't say no
But you back off
You already know
If we go too fast
You'll move slow
Our love will last
Give it time to grow

b for short
Last night, I ate
the god ****** apple.
I plucked it from its branch
in plain sight.
There it sat, smooth and round,
in my eager palms—
tantalizing with promises
of fulfillment that causes
a hungry jaw to tingle at its corners.
I grazed it, playfully, with my teeth
before giving into my ultimate desires
to let the sweet juices pop
and run down my chin.
Then, charged with a satisfaction
that pulsed electric down my spine,
I took bite after bite,
easing into something
I had taught myself not to need;
a keen knowledge of indulgent pleasure
that makes woman, woman,
and woman wanted.
I reveled there in the heat of it all,
naked, sticky, and fully absolved
of that restless, nagging guilt.

I mean, come on,
Eve just wanted to know ****.

Stars gather
In a sky nocturnal
Observing the deeds of
We creatures infernal
Might it be…
We’re the ones on display
For the universe to discuss
Perhaps it is the stars
That are watching us

Last night I heard the ocean
Serenade the moon
A song sung on lips of salty waves
Accompanied by the breath of
Soprano winds
A song of cerulean nights
And silver clouds
That crescendos with every
Crash of endless tides
And sounds like the cleansing
Of the Earth

City buildings obstruct
The sky from view
Preventing wishes
From getting through

So on my nails I paint
Constellations and stars
Pleading for peace
In this world of ours
