My head is flooded
As I am drowned by doubt
Only to be drained from the lesions of poor decisions
Why can't I bleed out
.....Her body quaked from inside out.....

Trajectory set, object aimed,
Bullets slicing through the air.

Her eyes picking up a speck of light,
Heading her way, fierce and fast at sight.
Milliseconds counted, time runs ahead
No time to cry or catch her breath.
Her cortex incapable to process a thought,
Fight or flight, adrenal rush surging thru her veins.

Bullet strikes, bulls eye aim,
Right between the space
Where her soul finds no escape.
Searing impulses, noxious and stale,
Only to be silenced halfway.
Randomness always finds a way in.
......And she wrote in a frenzy
Breathless and thirsty.
Words to feed her mind
Stories to feed her soul.
And she kept writing, incessantly,
As if it was akin to breathing.......

Mary
Have you ever dreamed of your prince?
The man who'll save you from the pain.

When the clock strikes midnight
Run
Don't stay,
go.

If you loose a shoe
Keep moving
It's a hint for your prince
He needs it

Don't stay
Remember you riches
They turn to rags
He will find you

Always remember
If it's meant to be
It will be
I knew this day would come for you
Its not the kind of day to be blue
Behind the smiles I'll shed a tear
And hug you like a Teddy Bear

Your a proud woman and your strong
Tried to teach you right from wrong
Watched you grow from a little girl
A grown woman a cultured pearl

An now on your wedding day
So proud of you I must say
Your new life is ahead of you
Daddy loves you.... you know that's true.

I sat
on the love seat
staring out the window.

I knew you knew

You had a heart of gold
a sweet companion
a
**** nature too
well known
on the pathway to enlightenment

You knew I knew

My mind had absorbed
too many years
of
being witness
too
to much misery
and you were so kind.

We both had touched each other
without makeup, costumes or disguise.

You didn't know
I had a fatal flaw
that
kept me alone
but
I knew it far too well.

I didn't know
but
you knew
your eyes said yes
but
your heart says "no".

No wonder
we both
had one hand out
saying,  "stop"
While
the other hand
beckoned
to come forward

Push
pull
approach
avoidance

Neither of us knew
we were meant for another.

I
got up to close the window
as the breeze turned cold
and the sun went down.
Johari's Window. Easy to research. The short version: we both know something about  each other and we both know it about ourselves.

I know something about you that you know about yourself.

You know something about me that I know.

I know something about me you don't know

You know something about yourself I don't know

There is something we both don't know about ourselves
or
each other.

I'm glad to hear,
for a short moment,

                 laying on my lap,

talking,

          laughing,

                    massaging

eachother for hours
You felt connected to me.

I'm glad to hear
you "maybe" talking out your ***.
Thanks for the chocolate.
