My body hollow
The house haunted
You locked the door
And took the key.
I do not know
Why those ghosts
Do shriek
Or why the echo carries
To the depths of my soul.
Sometimes I think
That I'm heading now
To a safer place
But my feet will carry me
On the path they know.
The worn old road will greet me
And the trees beckon me home.
Accursed from their birth they be
  Who seek to find monogamy,
Pursuing it from bed to bed--
I think they would be better dead.
And I’m tired of trying to find my own way
And I’m tired of playing the mouse in the maze
Like I’m memorizing the same old phrase
Just repeating my steps to the same old place

Oh, I wanna get lost tonight
I wanna get lost
I wanna get lost in your arms
I wanna get lost
And lose my way into your heart.

Cuz there’s so many voices
Telling me how to get lost in this life
So right now I wanna get lost in you
Lost in you
Before I lose myself
I have noticed
That the strongest people
Have teddy bears
To comfort them at night
Or to be a never-ending friend
They are the one thing
That has seen
The strongest person cry
Although they may look tough
Everyone needs a shoulder to cry on
So the little worn-out animal
Sitting peacefully on the bed
Is the keeper of secrets
And the giver of comfort
But also just a simple yet wonderful
Teddy bear
I got this idea while I was at camp when I looked at my own teddy bear, then to the one other person who had one.
What fish feel,
birds feel, I don't know--
    the year ending.
I have a friend who's in a way
Don't worry none, won't mention names
That daily battles bitterness
It drives them nuts, I'm sure no less

Where they've been wronged so many times
It's tuff to focus on this life
A wall they've built that's hard to scale
Could use a window if nothing else

To help see in and also out
Raise the shutter on that room of doubt
Let the breeze of trust blow in
Where it can flow back out again

Although I'm sure they're unaware
My friend is always in my prayers
And no matter what they're thrown in life
True friends stand by each other's side
At the watering hole
the wildabeasts
are gossiping the news
it's somebody's
BIRTHDAY
and he may have the
Blues!

so they all told the
zebras
who in turn told
giraffes
they all told the
elephants
they even told their
calves

pretty soon the whole
Savannah
knew that they must sing!
all the lions and the
bears and every bird
on wing!

so they sent up a chorus
all the grasslands
RANG!
even though it was
raucous
this is what they
sang...

HIPPO, BIRDIE, two EWES!
HIPPO, BIRDIE, two EWES!

HIPPO... BIRDIE
DEAR FRIEND,

HIPPO, BIRDIE, two EWES!

and many BOOOARS...
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!
