Divide the moon into two halves,
You'll find inside a million lamps,
Also cut the heart into two halves,
You'll find inside blood and valves.

Romance is trapped in a Shakespearean novel,
He buried it under the centuries with his shovel,
And the modern fast pace modified the human brain,
It's only a repetitive pattern of falling in vain.

Juliet has a husband, he's older by twenty years,
He's never home, she's always out shopping new fears,
Romeo is jobless, searching ups and downs for a key,
He heard life starts in the aftermath of a dream.

The old witch sitting in front of a glass bowl,
Now broke and retired, all her cookbooks are sold,
And the wolves are out, ruling the woods,
Magic's density in the air, isn't as high as it should.

So plug the stars out, pluck all the electric flowers,
The universe is now running low on power.*

Yesterday
Sun up came

Today
The same

How wondrous

This sundry
Banality
Before I leave this life
I don't want a sorry
         left unsaid
From anyone I have wronged
        forgiveness I beg
Matters not to me
         your share of blame
Before my last breath
to smile at all I want
Wrong or right
         friend or foe
Not a tear unshed
Nor a smile
          stopped from laughter
Not a truth untold
           or a lie to nest
For what is life
           but a mere waking
Into the next beginning
A moving from shadows
             to light
Sky to Earth
              hope to breath
There are no forevers
               in the flesh
Sorry travels endlessly
                wrong bones might forget
But spirit's sufferings
                  Never ends

Once in a lifetime
You'll meet that one in a million
And you can't help but drown
In such divine beauty and grace
Lost for words
with every move that she makes
Feels like I was falling deeper
This girl she was a keeper
Never thought I'd ever mistreat her

Oh honey can't stop
Crying over you
Straight from my heart
I'm breaking in two
Still, can't bear that I lost you
And memories of you
Are playing on repeat
All these thoughts
I can hardly sleep
Oh honey
Still crying over you

Everything fell,
went stone cold sour
Go through this situation
In my head for hours upon hours
How did we grow so close
Just to be torn apart
Words I should have left unspoken
We're put out in the open
And that's when we slid
into a constant fight
I'll never forget that night
Because I was so wrong,
And you were so right.

Oh honey can't stop
Crying over you
Straight from my heart
I'm breaking in two
Still, can't bear that I lost you
And memories of you
Are playing on repeat
All these thoughts
I can hardly sleep
Oh honey
Still crying over you

And it's here and now
I realise just how
much I messed up
If I could do it all again
You know I would
Let my insecurities
Get the better of me
Resulting in the hurtful words
I put you through
And I'll never forgive myself
for the hurt
I've caused inside of you
So much heartache
In watching your heartbreak

Oh honey can't stop
Crying over you
Straight from my heart
I'm breaking in two
Still, can't bear that I lost you
And memories of you
Are playing on repeat
All these thoughts
I can hardly sleep
Oh honey
Still crying over you

With His nail-scarred hands,
He wipes all my tears away.
And sweeps them into the sea.
The Sea of Forgetfulness.
Where He has cast my sins.
He washes me clean through His Blood of Sacrifice.
He wipes the tears from my eyes.
With His nail-scarred hands,
He washes me clean.
He wipes all my tears away.

I am loved.
I am forgiven.
I am free.
He wipes.
My tears.
Away.
"And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes."--Rev. 7:17.

She made me feel as though I could climb mountains and from them,
dive straight into oceans.

She pinned me to the wall
Breath heavy, legs a p a r t
Like the most beautiful canvas
Begging for art.
