I need to tell the truth
Let me be candid
I'm in a world
full of bandits
Diluted infractions
I need action
Drowning in
"look at me pollution"
love's an illusion
on a lonely screen
I find
unsolicited advice
How nice
Is this my new therapy?
I've lost my mind
Without meaning
how can I believe it?

Where's the truth
What's the truth
Where's the love
What's the proof?
You said I matter
That's a lie
Watch me shatter inside
Over and over I die
as life goes by
like a racecar
I'm tired, scarred,
never understanding why
What'd you say?
Say what you mean
Do what you say
There's no in-between
If all I have is you
How the hell am I
Supposed to make it through
I don't have it in me to
keep on giving

Make it worth living
Shapeless like a monster in the sky
Tilted like a glass eye
Howling like a creature at the moon
Reaching for my spoon

All I ever wanted
Was to be a silver bride
And to hope he doesn't notice
The dead girl at his side
All I ever needed
Was the will to be baptized
So they could rinse me of my failures
In the waves of a red tide

Faceless like a stranger in the night
Clutching my heart tight
Hiding like a vampire from the sun
Reaching for my gun

All I ever wanted
Was to be a purple bride
And we could have the little funeral
On a crumbling mountainside
All I ever needed
Was the will to be chastised
Then I could wash away my suffering
In the waves of a red tide
You slipped
away from me,
like the robins and
cherry blossoms when
spring ends,
and the fractured nights
of winter comes.
I will search the
midnight alleys, and the
mountains of Chile.
I will listen for
your sweet laughter.
I long to taste your
honeysuckle lips, and
hear your heartbeat.
If I never find you,
I will be a lost leaf
on the lonesome
vagabond wind.
This is a tribute to one of my favorite poets Pablo Neruda
My labor of words
My words of labor
Far into the night
looking for the common denominator

Like a sculptor
and his chips of marble
Words fall from my thoughts
Off my tongue they
will tumble

Envious of those whose words can progress
Eloquent in manner
their efforts so blessed

I only dream of a maybe ,
some day
But it seems all of my efforts only change
straw into hay

Perhaps no such work
will ever exist
Still I move on
I endure , I persist
Words can’t explain what my eyes have seen
The pain it holds
The tears it cried
One look in my eyes and you wouldn’t notice the pain nor the truth it hides
My eyes hold my secrets
Your eyes drink of me,
Love makes them shine,
Your eyes that lean
So close to mine.

We have long been lovers,
We know the range
Of each other’s moods
And how they change;

But when we look
At each other so
Then we feel
How little we know;

The spirit eludes us,
Timid and free —
Can I ever know you
Or you know me?
it hurts when you're all alone
you start to hear every little noise

something so quiet
or it's so loud

waiting for tomorrow to end
I feel like there's no beginning

HOPE
You are too sweet
Yet excessively strong
My cold coffee in the morning
I kissed a girl with a broken smile;
nothing could come near.
She carved it with a pocket knife;
slit from ear to ear.
And she wears it like her favourite scarf;
it keeps her from the cold.
So I told her its only woven by
her enemies of old.
