Your blue eyes,
Me they hypnotize.

Hair so dense and dark,
Lost within them is an ark.
This one is for my Facebook friend Luna.

some people have it all
and they have it on call
to summon as they will
i only when there's a lull
in the bouts of slow-paced fortune
that haunt my every little move
i see you've changed your car again
since you came back from Dubai
you travel everywhere business class
and your collection of sunglasses is amazing
you want a suntan when you have a natural one
you pout your lips and roll your red tongue
you ogle men with those big deep eyes
where they read the fate of their fancies
i see that you've become a fashion guru
with low-cut outfits and cups running over
young people everywhere swear by your name
and i look on and wonder where i know you from

I love myself.
I love my parents.
End of the story.

life could be a pure wonder
with lots of real thunder
if we all became babies again
no past,present or future
just a drooling ,dribbling life
where everything is wondrous
and we trust  everyone too; in a
haven of arrested development
then would we spend eternity
trying to decipher baby babble
and the world would be safe
2 worlds, one I wish I lived in and one I can't escape
as a boy running around the garden
playing football and laughing.
The one where I was free, life was happy and fun
waking up in the morning and the sky had no clouds only the sun.

Now the sky is dark and it never stops raining
I see the world of fun, just out of my reach
instead I wonder the streets getting drenched by the rain
with each step destroying all memories of a different world
a world where it's always sunny and life was happy

2 worlds, one I wished I lived in and one I can't escape.
every walk that i take
every gaze up the avenues
exposes every low lie
about human progress
the glamour and the glitz
muffle the hungry cries
of bewildered no-hopers
the litter and the clutter
tell a story of decadence
and broken down values

She said,
"I am truly yours,"
And me,
I am a fool always.
Waiting,
To be cheated,
They always say,
"I have found someone better,
He's just like me & so compatible."

I had read her acceptance letter then,
She had promised me to love me,
I had even renamed myself,
For her, I took that step,
So long as lifelong.

Reading her old love letters,
I now realize its postmortem,
That I read none complete,
At the bottom of the offer,
Was written in small letters,
**"CONDITIONS APPLY"

On All Poetry at her behest, I had created an account...
And this is one one of my poems which I had posted there...

How Are You,
My Love?
I Long For You,
Today, Every Day!

I Have Not
Met You Ever,
So I Long For You!

Soon We Will
Meet In Your City,
The Idea Captures Me!
